This Shipper Almost made me QUIT Trucking ‼️ | Trucking Vlog
I may be a little dramatic, but I did not have a very good day. We all have those days at truck drivers. This is a short day in the life vlog, although I worked a very long day that day. Also, I’ve never pulled a dry van or a reefer before, so I know wait times at those particular shippers are longer. It kind of kills your morale and your trip plan when you are at a shipper for a prolonged period of time.

If you have 36 months of experience, you should apply to Walmart Transportation.. Which ever DC is hiring near you. If not that than apply to an LTL co., I know Old Dominion has a hub on 81. A. Duie Pyle is a good company. I pulled tankers for years & the worst thing is inconsistency. I run linehaul now for SEFL , a lot more routine schedule & better pay. Good luck to you & hang in there!! KEEP ON TRUCKING FYI just checked WM & they have posted driver positions for, Tobyhanna - Pottsville - Woodland in PA.

Otherwise, dealing with city traffic was a real bitch, especially in Chicago. Love your videos and your attitude. I’ve had my CDL for 3 years and in that time I’ve experienced a lot of the same things you’ve mentioned in your videos. Including trying out Schneider on two separate occasions and almost a third. First time was in Indianapolis when I didn’t have much experience, had my CDL but still had to go through their full orientation process. The things I went through during that time was insane. Recently, I got my endorsements and tried to go fuel hauling as well with KAG. They were advertising a position in my area on their website so I applied. Waited a week, heard nothing, called their recruiting department. It took 2 days to get a recruiter on the phone and then he was very dismissive as if I was bothering him and he told me that position was conditionally filled and to try again towards the middle/end of the month. Trucking and dealing with these companies is wild. I wish we could all go on strike like the ports/airliners to actually effect change in this industry.

Why do so many new drivers stress about having an automatic restriction? Most if not all of the good paying companies are going to automatics. Especially if they want to keep up with the industry. Old heads make it a big deal because back then not a lot of companies had automatics but things are changing fast I don’t think it’s something anyone should even worry about.
