Hi Tajae , This is Naveen and we trained together with TE Dave . I left Schneider in March now hauling fuel locally here and like it very much ! Thank you for great informative videos 😊
You said it best, you have to work your butt off in order to achieve the level of income you want to attain. I tell people all the time that when you start making bigger money, you have to endure some things along the way. You have a great plan! Keep hustling
Being a former cryo driver. It's not they don't want you to film. It's you deliver to a lot of industrial customers and they don't want you filming on there property. They are afraid you may film some type of industrial process that they want to keep secret. At a biofuel plant I use delivered to in Arkansas you had to lock up your cell phone in a lock box before entering the property.
That you for your commitment to your RUclips channel and your fans. I enjoy your videos and love watching them from S.C. Hope to get a trucking job soon.
I worked for Airgas for 15 years. They have cameras and will suspend you for anything. It's very corporate. I left. I couldn't take it anymore. Good paying job with good benefits. No cell phones at all at anytime. You will be constantly watched. Be careful.
Another great video Tajae'. You have my undying support and admiration. You aee striving to get ahead, you know where you want to go and you're willing to do the work necessary to get there. Always trying to "Do Better". Keep your head up and be safe out there.
Thank you for sharing this topic. I too am looking for a company to retire from that pays a decent wage. Keep these videos coming! I appreciate the knowledge you provide in your content.
You are heading in the right direction My friend just started with Lindee 3 months ago and he works 4 days on 3 off. Home every day. Pay is great but benefits are average. Plus you get safety bonuses Messer and Air gas pay good as well.
I would work cryro too, but I want more freedom. Love ur videos, would hate to see u go. Will fuel haulers mind if u post? Good luck with your job search. I started my trucking career w Schneider 3yrs ago, Ecolab account Martinsburg. Stayed 3 months, did some regional and otr, now I'm pulling containers from ports in Virginia. Love the content, keep on trucking!
I dropped gasoline in a straight truck on a hot 4th of July once many years ago. I had 3 loads to do that day. I will always remember taking the hoses off the truck and getting hit in the face with vapors when pulling the caps. I couldn't imagine doing that all summer.
Your gonna work long hrs in fuel hauling. They not telling you the long loading lines, traffic, customer parking on your drops, allocation issues, weather etc.I enjoyed it but its not all that. You can make just as much or more doing ltl which is easier & safer. If i had to choose between fuel hauling & cryogenics; cryogenics all day. Good luck in what ever you choose!
@Tay.juhWoods Coming in @ any company your gonna be low person and have deal with the bad with low seniority. It really depends on location and terminal size. Trust me if you can maintain off those schneider checks, you will be ok @any ltl
If a driver wants to haul hazmat that's up to them, that's awesome you want to do it still. I volunteered surrendered my hazmat endorsement over a decade ago, didn't want to deal with it anymore and have no regrets. Before I became a job hopper I applied at Schneider, three times with a clean MVR and no felonies and each time they said no. I look at that now as a good thing for me, matter of fact no mega carriers wanted me so I started local unloading food or beverage trailers to local businesses. Then bought a truck for 12k with title in hand and want 1099 and yes no benefits other than not being a company driver or get trapped in some lease garbage, fine by me. Then got my own MC and just power only and happy with it, now I'm otr, did everything backwards, was always told have to go otr before local. I think these companies only watch truckin youtubers who work for them and say they like it when their just waiting for the youtuber to do something wrong and then its sorry but we have to let you go and all that time spent with them and the benefits they had are gone, just imagine if they had 10 years with the company and then sol.
You actually have to ware a fire retardant long sleeve shirt while handling product year around and face shield with hard hat. I used to haul 0:11 cryogenics out of airgas for a contractor and have never seen so many disgruntled employees in a company like I witnessed at air gas. At least in CT, they’re micromanagers. They have goals that are unattainable do to the cameras in trucks. Be careful what you wish for!! Money sounds good but the toxic working environment is not worth the money. I personally will never work for airgas!!I new employees won’t see a weekend off for years. You’ll probably be off Tuesday-Wednesday to start. 😂 fuel hauling is the way to go
You're completely right. I spent 15 years with Airgas. When Air Liqiude bought them out it went downhill very fast. It's a very corporate woke company.
The home time so far is my biggest complaint with the orange company. I will have a low check this week, only around $600 but I knew it would be, didn’t get as many miles so I could get home. Definitely pros and cons here.
Hello. I work for Air Products and will tell you that this is the best job I’ve ever had. I’ve seen some of your offloading videos and can’t believe how demanding it is compared to what we do. AP actually does let you do “A day in the life” videos but I am guessing many drivers are too scared to try 😅
Have you started the process of departing the pumpkin that pay disparity is ridiculous especially hauling chemicals, see if there are any companies in your area that haul anhydrous ammonia I used to make bank hauling that stuff~as always great content~Be Safe
Hey, what about going to a LTL company like Estes Express lines, FedEx Freight, OD etc....I drive for Estes and my run is M-F (sometimes Saturday by my choice) off on weekends and I made 120k last year. If you're interested give it a shot. Love your videos.
Man i don’t know why ppl keep saying this….. LTL is not the move right now it’s slower than the past and a lot of companies overhired during covid. If you already got years in than your good but coming into LTL now most likely u won’t work everyday and will either sit at home or spend time on a forklift. I did 2 years at FXF on P&D side barely got 40 hours a week. Bottom 1/3 of linehaul drivers we had only drove 1 or 2 times a week for months
