    Interesting to watch and brought back memories. My Air Force specialty was Cryogenic Fluids Production running a 5-ton per day production plant... high-pressure systems, dangerous equipment and only operated in locations where liquid O2 and N2 were not commercially available . Our Navy counterparts ran their plants on aircraft carriers.

      What are your thoughts on the Artemis mission and cryogenic refueling in space? Will gravity be an issue? will the temperature differences from one side of the craft to the other cause issues?

    I worked for one of the 4 largest cryogenic manufacturers for 13+ years as a bulk service technician and installer back in the 90s and early 2000s- I loved this type of work, Chart (formerly MVE) made some of the very best bulk tanks, dewars, and vapes, hands down! I loved when I toured your bulk tank plant in Mn, and your plant in Ga where you built the trifecta!

      We don't build dewars in BallGround,GA at all. We have know expanded a little bit more product to building in georgia but it's still all the same we just don't ever build the dewar at all, we just get dewars from our other parent companies and sell them to actual disruptobtors

    Just one can say the equilibrium vapour pressure is occurred when the rate of condensation of vapor is equal to the rate of evaporation of the liq molecules at the surface of the liq. So, colliding bet gas molecule and liq molecules may loss the energy of the gas and condense it, at the same time liq molecule of high energy vaporate

    Volume of gas is not defined, any space available for the gas is its volume. But can specify the volume of the gas at definite T and P with volume of its liq at the same conditions.

    Hello, I don't understand the effect of heat flux on a cryogenic tank. I feel like evaporation will occur, causing a liquid level drop and a pressure rise to stay on the P-T equilibrium line, but at 3:20 you're saying the opposite (liquid level rise)... Can somebody explain that to me, please ?
    Thank you by advance and have a nice day

    • @ilaledbaissa3870
      @ilaledbaissa3870 2 года назад

      Evaporation occurs at the boiling point, the level rises when the energy is increased but boiling point is not reached yet
