Sweet POV. People dont understand that day cab life. I knew I had a long day when I ran into my day driver. We never ran into each other😂 & you can always hear it in somebody’s voice at the end of their shift how tired they are. Stay safe. You doing good with this content 👍🏽
The longest I’ve waited at a shipper/consignee was over 10 hrs waiting on them to clean a silo,,man I was hot and to boot I didn’t get paid for the 1st 2hrs, seems like nothing will ever change about the trucking industry, drivers are constantly being screwed over makes it very frustrating
Whinging over a 2 1/2 hr delay is pretty sad. My longest was something like 60 hours when I pulled tankers and got stuck out west for the backhaul. Did a couple 24 hrs at BASF in Monaca. These days, I’ll take that detention pay and let dispatch reschedule the delivery if the delay is too much.
I’m local. So a 2 hour delay is a big deal actually. If I were regional, then it wouldn’t have been a big deal because I’d just park at a truck stop or use split sleeper berth.

Hang in there. It wouldn't be trucking without shippers and receivers wasting your time.
Yeah 🤣🤣🤣. You got that right!
Hey Im here with quality myself and majority of the time qc does not communicate with receivers and it can waste more of our time

@Tay.juhWoods bro that literally is a cheap warehouse workers logic and if you complain at all in anyway then you are unprofessional and not them
