I do the same thing when I'm out and something goes wrong, I don't panic. I try and figure out what the issue is and figure out how to solve it. My sister, however, that's another story lol. She panic's over everything considering that's how she is lol.
Born and raised same way aswell my wife on the other hand lol just like when a car has a problem(unless you know rite away it not good) but I always say it's probably something easy or stupid and not a big deal and will be fixed rite away and then wife has a melt down and starts freaking out thinking it's the worse case senerio
Dave is the type of Father this Country needs more of today and for the foreseeable future. I have taught my daughter many life lessons and now I spend as much time as possible with my youngest grandson teaching him all the things a growing young man should know about Houses, Cars and Trucks, Tractors, Firewood and providing for your family. May God bless Dave and all the Fathers who do the best they can for their family.
as a kid who comes from a "broken" family, I feel its amazing you are including your kids in this and teaching them to stay calm no matter the situation.
I am a fan of fathers spending time with the kids. My dad was a mechanic and a truck 🚚 driver. He showed all of us (5) kids how to do repairs on the fly and how to change our oil and our tires on our vehicles. I always carried spare of lots of things like clamps battery cables and a plethora of tools, duct tape, so I would be prepared for most emergencies.
my dad was same way always made sure me and my sister exspecially sister when she wanted to start driving that were knew the basics of a vehicle (both if us started striving in late 90s early 00s plus me started wrenching and welding when I was 8 and rebuilt my first SBC) so things like oil other fluids with he taught us to check when ever we would get fuel plus how to change tires and also if something didn't feel rite or smell or look rite with vehicle don't wait to tell him or someone at a shop plus to always carry tools jumper cables and so one thing now days is alot of parents or even Schools don't teach any automotive class any more let alone even drivers ed plus it ad enough alot of new vehicles don't come with spares or you have to special order the spare which I think is BS
My Dad was the opposite. He never showed me how to do anything like change a tire, check the oil, etc. Hell, he could barely cut a 2x4 pc of wood. Fortunately I lived in a neighborhood where almost all the other fathers were willing to teach me and my friends how to use tools and fix things. I'm much much older now but I can fix and build almost anything and I enjoy passing on the knowledge to kids in my neighborhood that don't have fathers in their lives.
Dave what you did with your Boys is nothing BUT Awesome this is something all fathers need to do with their children. Spend quality time with their children and teach them how to do things in life and NOT always depend on someone else for help. You are an Amazing father Dave making sure that you're children are being tought correctly in life.

Bro I love how humble and respectful you are to those around you. Always giving a shout to those around you and showing the love to others helping, not to mention a great life lesson to the lil guys. Love the content and wish ya the best luck man.
I'm super proud of you for involving your boys!! as a man coming from a split family it's super important that you still involve your kids in what your doing 💯 and just so you know I'm here silently cheering you on 💯 percent
Well done to you for taking your boys, teaching them and letting them experience it all too. I actually liked this one just as much as some of your more polished content- really felt like we were there with you on this journey.
I love how your teaching your boys the ways of trucking and fixing. I had an alternator mount break at 2 am and got my mechanic to bring a generator and battery charger out and did the exact same thing you did. He thought I was crazy but we got the job done and truck home in -35 Celsius weather. Had to do what we had to to get the job done and truck home or else it wouldn’t have started the next day in that cold weather. Keep up the good videos
Love that you took your boys along. My dad is in refrigeration and I would often join him on call outs on the weekend. He worked very hard so it was great to spend time together. I learned a lot from him and today we are in business together. Your boys have good manners too, great to see dads raising their sons right.
My father had the same outlook on life “it doesn’t matter what goes wrong don’t panic, panic may kill you” Good to see you passing the same to your sons. The way you overcame the issues with the electrical system and the windscreen wipers was epic 🏴👍🏻
Thank you everyone for the support. AG1 is NOT the brand I was referring to in this video. AG1 has been and will continue to be a great partner of the channel I don’t want drama so I won’t name the brand that pulled out but I will say they’re a brand that’s only advertised with us once and it was a long time ago
I'm going to stop watch as well. Morals and ethics are valued to me but not to you. Let me know how that trump vote works out in less than 3 years. The economy is going to crash and you put a mad man behind the wheel. There will be no soft landing
You should pin this to the top so someone doesn't pull the triger before they read thru the comments . Trumpbtrain has pulled out of the station and is steam rolling to dc to pump the scum out of the swamp!
Just wanna say your boys are blessed to have a father like you who cares and spends time with them. It takes time to explain things, keep up to great work.
I LOVE these types of videos. Seeing real life as a dad on the road dealing with issues. Your kids are awesome and your are a great dad. I'm a dad of 4. It's tough often, but also great. More dads need to see videos like this, to teach them how to teach their kids. Keep it up, dude!
I Can't say that I would do something like a generator to a battery charger to keep the batteries........ OK That's something I would totally do! Love the 'on the fly' problem solving as that's been my life from farming to computers. Totally DIFFERENT sorts of fixes but take each as it comes and work the problem to a solution. Especially cool to see the boys helping and learning! Lots of 40 year olds don't know battery lead colors!! Well done Heavy D!
Ayyyy great positive reinforcement when talking to your son very very good 👍🏾 when you said “it’s just at a weird angle” instead of saying can’t or anything belittling you effortlessly and subtly reinforced that’s it’s just knowledge !!! Dad of the Year brother love from Aus
So cool, man! If something goes wrong there’s no reason to panic is something I didn’t learn until I was 27. That’s an invaluable lesson at any point in life!
Yeah man respect for sticking to your morals. Don't let anybody especially over money change who you are. your thoughts and beliefs Make you who you are and you don't ever sell out on that
Watch lots of your videos but dang your men are with you!!! Priceless little men so happy to be with fearless dad that can fix anything, wow best video you ever made!!!!Those boys just love!!!! That's what life's about!!!!
You can always tell in vlogs/videos if the way a parent speaks to their children on camera is the same way they're treated off camera. You, Dave, are a good daddy. You guide yet encourage, teach yet let them explore and most important of all is that you speak respectfully to them. In return you can see that they respect and adore you so very much. The feelings are obviously mutual. They're adorable, great little men. Well done to your wife and you. Good on you for teaching them to remain calm when faced with situations. So many parents these days feel comfortable freaking out in front of their kids, and then we wonder why those same children grow up to be dramatic and over-the-top when it comes to stressful situations. We SHOULD be honest with our kids, but it's also ok to get thru the situation and go back and discuss things afterwards. Teaching our kids how to react and get thru tough things is just as important, in my opinion, as teaching them how to deal with and actually fix things. I found your channel thru someone I follow that you are friends with. I can't say who it was... Matt Carriker and the races at Cleetus' track, Roman. etc. I didn't start following Garrett/Cleetus until this past couple of weeks and I now know why you are all friends. I bring this up because despite me following you, Cleetus, Roman, Matt, I know next to nothing about cars (evident by my dead Jeep in my driveway, haha, and yes it is very true that as a woman we are frequently misguided.) It's odd for someone who doesn't really know about or watch cars/trucks, etc. and those type of channels, that you and these other channels are all within my top 12 channels on RUclips. A large part of it is because of the type of people you are. Congrats on your new rig. I have to admit, it really does look cool. I look forward to seeing what you do with it. I expect that the interior alone is going to be amazing once you get it cleaned up! The boys looked so comfy in the back of the cab of the new semi. I'm surprised the three of you didn't just crash in there overnight, haha. I know I probably would have! Thanks for taking us along on the ride with your little buddies. They did a super job with the camera👍🏼🏆. I think you may have some future videographers in your midst! Sincerely, Heather🇨🇦
Bro this was amazing, I know it’s a PIA to record like that but man, what a difference that was! Absolutely loved the content it was like a mission we were on together and every break down was another obstacle. Keep up the hard work !
I absolutely love the truck! T h a n k s for the OnX deal! I’m so pumped. My wife was going to get it for me for Christmas but scored now thanks to you. Man I’m excited! Thanks brother 🙏
Duuuude, Setbacks aside, that's a dope father/sons trip! Reminds me of being a little guy going out camping with my Dad. Out there surviving and learning how to solve problems... Also, That "walk to AutoZone" face was priceless...
Thank you for sharing this and Thank You for being a Father who cares that his kids learn what it takes to get thru life's problems. We raised our 2 the same way, the oldest didn't care for it and learned a little the youngest picked up on everything and now owns his own Landscaping Company and between him and I do our own repairs. I love the 8000, this is my dream to have something like this to pull our 38ft 5th Wheel camper, can't wait to see the finished Rig.
I got home , fed him , he was working on patent , I went to nap cause I worked 3rd shift , heard my name I jump up and he had went on floor and passed in my arms. With his computer open working . Always teach the young to be self efficient & survival of knowledge using their hands & their minds . My dad will always be my hero
I work at a business that sells semi parts. Just a heads up, you're probably going to hate this truck. Ford was notorious for little aftermarket support. They sold the medium and heavy duty off to Sterling, which isn't in business anymore. Good luck to you! Although, if you have good fabricators, you might be alright.
Ohh, where's The Wizard? Need some of that wizard magic. Dave's got magic too. The ability to source the stuff that is needed to complete the task that in itself is a miracle magic. Well, this video, man, love watching you with your kids. It's great. That thing is so cool.
Well as for the group that decided to not support you is sad. So many companies now make these pour choices. Love the stuff you do and teach and stand for, Thank You!
Heavy D man, I’ve watched you for a long time and even when you first had your show with all your crew love your show love what you do and what you believe in stick to what you believe in I don’t care what other people say about you, you got a great heart a beautiful family and a wonderful wonderful kids who are gonna learn from you. You don’t need these other people that cancelled you? It shows you that they really didn’t care care about you that just cared about the ratings and the money you keep doing what you’re doing no matter anybody else tells you this is your TV show. This is what you do for your family and other people that need help and for your beliefs, I have no issuebut like I said love the show man and I’m from Canada and you do beautiful things my friend God bless you.
I think that the fact that you got to bring your sons to pick up this amazing truck, is a perfect decision as a father figure. Your sons will always look back to things like these and look up to you for it. Keep it up Heavy D.! I got to learn things from my dad and my grandpa because of decisions like this. I also hope your sons enjoyed it too. XD Love your videos man and I look forward to everything else you guys do on this channel! Oh ya, forgot to mention the fact that you freely mentioned things you believed and your political belief's and even though your sponsor didn't like it, you still stuck to it and didn't get afraid to say it out loud and proud. At the same time you got onX to support you for doing it. In the end, all things come together as God planned it man. Glad to see your doing this. I'll be here supporting you every step of the way!
Holy cow this is one of your best videos ever. Your crazy antics of going several hundred miles to drive a vehicle home is so much fun to watch. The ups and downs had me laughing then crying. Your boys will remember this for ever. Pretty cool...
Really enjoyed this! Just started some family adventures and got a camera to film and this makes me feel like I’m doing the right thing. Thanks for the content.
Hey HeavyDSparks, I know you're a busy guy and probably won't see this, but I'm hoping you can help me out. I'm looking to start my own business, and I'm really tired of working for people who don't appreciate my help. I've done my research, and I think I'll be very successful at starting a household junk removal business. The only thing I need is a cheap box truck or dump bed truck. It doesn't have to run, but it would be great if it did. I don't have a lot of money, and I've tried to save up, but it just isn't happening. I've asked a few people for loans, but no one will loan me enough to get me going. I know it's a long shot, but I was hoping maybe you had an old box truck or dump bed truck that you'd be willing to part with for cheap. If not, I totally understand. I'm also thinking about starting a RUclips channel to document my daily work. I'm just so tired of not making my own money. Thanks for your time and consideration.
It just pictured in my head... Having Heavy D as your Dad... like WOW!.... Could any of you imagine?? seriously?! Hes just so cool and on top of that all the AWESOME equipment he has!! work AND play... Those kids are going to have a lifetime of fun! :) Plus Heavy instills values to them too! Hes awesome!! Total super hero!
I love the fact you take your two little trucker camera guys out with you. Well done. I wish I could've done that when my son was little in the early days of my truck driving career. I was away all the time, and I wish I could have had my son there instead of not seeing him for a week at a time.
Some of your videos literally brings me to tears I love the team I really enjoy the content and most of all I love everything that you guys are able to accomplish God bless all of you and I wish you continued success.
Dave you are amazing I love how you are supporting freedom of speech and all these other businesses that are you know lost and not making sense or scared and in a state of fear and in the long run it is detrimental to your business . They need to embrace the changes of the future. Because the ones that embrace the changes of the future will have more success ... If words could truly convey how grateful I am that we have courageous people supporting the freedom of speech .... You're a warrior in my eyes God Bless you and your family God blessed United States of America
This comment was in reference to a comment that you made at beginning of an advertisement you had was about how a business stopped sponsoring you because your support freedom of speech.
I love that you called out the ex sponsor that doesn’t believe in free speech. I’m all for boycotting a company that uses their money and power to silence an individual’s belief or opinions. Who was the company?
Yes sir, I do the mind over matter thing. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter, it can be fixed. Lol. It was awesome to see you with the boys to give them hands on real life experience. Love the truck Brother. Stay kind and humble, it's an amazing trait to have. 🙏🏻
I don't see the truck as the focus in this video. I see the teaching, the effort by you and your boys, and the crazy ability to just keep going from those kids. Well done! I always say "parenting done right"
This was awesome, what a kool road trip to have made with your boys Dave, with some great life lessons to boot. Luved the new cameramens work, some great shotsand takes, they did excellent, and luv the new truck purchase. Cheers for the reel Dave...I've just been out bush for a few days so it was kool to have this reel to watch getting home...
Those memories are forever lasting my grandpa use to take me on long road trips to deliver fish and I’m glad you made this video good to see you do this with your kids.
First of all, thanks to all veterans for your service! Happy veterans day! Fantastic video Heavy D! That is one very cool truck! It's so awesome that you took your boys with you on this trip to share this life experience with them. Absolutely love your channel and always look forward to new ones, and even going back and watching previous videos. Also, I LOVE Andrew's hat!! Make America great again indeed!!!
Bro you're sons are so much like you its so cute to bring them along on trips like this. I remember growing up how much I loved driving across the country in a big truck. Still do even as I get older if I was rich I'd do this shit too.
This has to be in my top 3 favorite videos of yours man. Seriously thank you. Seeing those two men reminded me of me going with my Dad on the road. ❤ He was a long haul trucker, I have been for the past 20+ years. HeavyDeez channel name idea with your boys..lol
People need to grow up. Just because he’s friends with Jake and got invited to drive him in, doesn’t mean it should change your opinion about someone. It’s insane how ridiculous people are. These idiots are a bunch of crybaby’s, we’re not in 3rd grade.
sorry to hear that your supporter dropped advertising on your videos! i respect what you did at the rally! i really appreciate your stance and dedication to the moral fabric of our country! thanks for all you do! God fearing Americans support our fellow patriots!

You're great with your kiddos man. They will treasure and remember these times with you. Can't say the same for my father. Sweet truck!
Duuuude, Setbacks aside, that's a dope father/sons trip! Reminds me of being a little guy going out camping with my Dad. Out there surviving and learning how to solve problems... Also, That "walk to AutoZone" face was priceless...
i didnt see any dope,,,,wish you hadnt either,,,,,kids,,,,and dads,, shouldnt use dope
Best little film crew! Great family time. Awesome truck!
You just made some key memories with those two boys! This is what it’s all about brother ❤
The axle inspection at 23:15 is my favourite part. 😂😂
Wonderful, wholesome episode. Love the teaching of positivity! cheers from Germany
The man has who he needs.
He knows alot about trucks😂😂
The biggest problem is the engine, its a throw-away. Everything else is pretty common and easy to fix/replace heavy truck parts.
You must not know who the man is! First time watching the Diesel Brothers? 🤣
This truck will be stripped down and switched over to modern stuff. He won’t need no support.
Ohh, where's The Wizard? Need some of that wizard magic. Dave's got magic too. The ability to source the stuff that is needed to complete the task that in itself is a miracle magic. Well, this video, man, love watching you with your kids. It's great. That thing is so cool.
She's flawless, truly one of a kind.
Dave will replace everything on this truck 😄
That's so cute with the kids; amazing learning experience. Hats down to Dad for being the coolest dad ever. God bless y'all's
Love the new film crew take the kids with you on your next major recor recovery PLEASE ❤ love seeing the kids learn. Gotta tach them young ❤❤
0:58 this is proof you don’t have to be in sync for rock paper scissors 😂
I love the generator, battery charger solution. Vacuum powered wipers? The last time I saw those were on my Mom's 1964 Rambler American.
Well as for the group that decided to not support you is sad. So many companies now make these pour choices. Love the stuff you do and teach and stand for, Thank You!
I dont watch all of his videos, could you or somebody else who reads this tell me what kind of problem they had with his oppinion?
@@micros95 Basically there was a political view stated and the sponsor was offended by it.
pour???? choices,,,,like when the bartended makes them??
XD
Love your videos man and I look forward to everything else you guys do on this channel!
Great job with filming boys 👏👏💪 I bet there were great memories developed with some learning so it definitely should stick. Great job
Holy cow this is one of your best videos ever. Your crazy antics of going several hundred miles to drive a vehicle home is so much fun to watch. The ups and downs had me laughing then crying. Your boys will remember this for ever. Pretty cool...
8:06 - Only in the world of custom builds can ‘plywood dash’ and ‘table in the back’ mean ‘luxury interior!
Exactly! 😄 When it comes to custom builds, creativity and unique choices redefine luxury. It's all about the charm and personality you put into it!
Really enjoyed this! Just started some family adventures and got a camera to film and this makes me feel like I’m doing the right thing. Thanks for the content.
You’re a great dad buddy, teach’em young, they’ll do better in life!
3:18 the filter 😭😭😭😭
HeavyDbicep😂💪💪💪
I was just going to say something about the editing .
I think it's perfectly within your rights to tell us to sponsor that canceled you so we can cancel them.
I bet it's AG1
It just pictured in my head... Having Heavy D as your Dad... like WOW!.... Could any of you imagine?? seriously?! Hes just so cool and on top of that all the AWESOME equipment he has!! work AND play... Those kids are going to have a lifetime of fun! :) Plus Heavy instills values to them too! Hes awesome!! Total super hero!
Excellent father!! I can't wait for my first kid!! The ability to pass on skills is amazing! Your kids are your best students!
7:45 that cactus behind you looks weird 😂😂
Haha seen it to
2:54 lol at the bicep filter
Saw that cactus out of the corner of my eye at about the 8:00 time stamp, and it looked like it was giving me the finger...
Kudos on you for the way you are with those boys. Paitent and informative. Good parenting 👍
I love the fact you take your two little trucker camera guys out with you. Well done. I wish I could've done that when my son was little in the early days of my truck driving career. I was away all the time, and I wish I could have had my son there instead of not seeing him for a week at a time.
Your film crew was awesome! I don't feel like I missed anything.
3:06 amazing humor
This look is pure elegance.
You're a warrior in my eyes
God Bless you and your family
God blessed United States of America
This comment was in reference to a comment that you made at beginning of an advertisement you had was about how a business stopped sponsoring you because your support freedom of speech.
love the videos man
You do so much good… Can’t you let us know what company you mentioned is? If they don’t want to support you, I don’t want to support them.
No Company deservs support if they are Butthurt about Political view IF they get envolved!
I'll figure out who it was within 5 videos I guarantee it.
We all will bc you won't see their ads anymore lol @@fredrex1904
Probably that one drink thingy
@@fredrex1904Dave wrote in a comment that the company has only advertised with them once before, a long time ago.
Now that's a nice looking rig!
Finally you got some professional camera boys really enjoyed watching you teach the new generation something good.
stay safe watching from Arizona.
'Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.' You get an A+ for positivity through that adventure. Great father son bonding time.
5,000 views in 7 minutes is outlandish
And 75k after 1 hour☺️
15:50 love the DDE hoodie 😂
DDE RACING
Well done!
I always say "parenting done right"
4:16 thank you
spotted the dde racing hoodie @ 15:59
Association with the pauls? you make me sick. Im subscribing
@@LiveWithoutDirection looking at all the other channels you follow… Jake Paul is one of the normal ones
Those boys will remember this for a long time 👏
4:15 who was it
Pretty sure it was AG1
AG1 a Kamala supporter 🤡
First of all, thanks to all veterans for your service! Happy veterans day! Fantastic video Heavy D! That is one very cool truck! It's so awesome that you took your boys with you on this trip to share this life experience with them. Absolutely love your channel and always look forward to new ones, and even going back and watching previous videos. Also, I LOVE Andrew's hat!! Make America great again indeed!!!
Don’t tell the guys but I like this crew better than the other crew 😂
Bro you're sons are so much like you its so cute to bring them along on trips like this. I remember growing up how much I loved driving across the country in a big truck. Still do even as I get older if I was rich I'd do this shit too.
This has to be in my top 3 favorite videos of yours man. Seriously thank you. Seeing those two men reminded me of me going with my Dad on the road. ❤ He was a long haul trucker, I have been for the past 20+ years. HeavyDeez channel name idea with your boys..lol
Lol 2:45 "flex"
Anybody else come to the comments just to see the shitshow about the fight entrance?
People need to grow up. Just because he’s friends with Jake and got invited to drive him in, doesn’t mean it should change your opinion about someone. It’s insane how ridiculous people are. These idiots are a bunch of crybaby’s, we’re not in 3rd grade.
sorry to hear that your supporter dropped advertising on your videos! i respect what you did at the rally! i really appreciate your stance and dedication to the moral fabric of our country! thanks for all you do! God fearing Americans support our fellow patriots!

I appreciate you trusting us to take a risk and it worked, rare these days. Going gorilla style with the kids worked extremely well.
You're an Awesome Dad. That's going to be a trip they'll remember forever.
