It definitely is a MonoSpace, judging by the rather loud 'clunk' when the brake is disengaged at 0:17 and the clearly audible motor noise even near the bottom landing.

Actually, it seems that Mitsubishi did make GPS-3 models well into the 2010s, albeit in some markets on the basis of special orders only and usually reserved for modernisations or non-general purposes (e.g., heavy-duty).

Unfortunately, from what I heard they won't be around for much long. Apparently the owner of the complex where that hotel is located is planning to modernise all of the lifts there, and one of Schindler's annual reports mention the lift modernisation project for the hotel. KONE already got their claws on the office tower lifts in the very same complex.

The former Swissôtel in Zürich (once their flagship) used to have Schlieren lifts modded by Schindler in 1988. Their Bangkok and Sydney locations have Miconic V-based Schindler installations, though both are reflagged former Merchant Court hotels. Among the newer bunch, the Clark location has Schindler 5500s. On a side note, Swissôtel Kursaal Bern (located inside a convention center) has lifts made by EMCH, a Swiss generic company.

Or: "Button for non-serviced floor does not light up." Either way these seem to have voice announcements of any sort muted, judging by the lack of the 'ding' sound when the door closes...

It is, though I've seen 1,800- and 2,000-kilogram capacities in some newer office buildings. For hotels, at least those outside of Europe, 1,350 and 1,600 kg still seem to be the norm.

@@markselevatorsandetc.937 For Residential, standard capacity is 10 Persons 800 Kg. Large Residential is 13 Persons 1000 Kg and Small Residential is 8 Persons 630 Kg.

ELEMOTION prior to 2021 did not support speed range above 2.5m/s. These should be NexWay as their speed is above that.

Marina Mall next to Abu Dhabi's Corniche (not Dubai) is one example with such lifts. Aspect Tower (ruclips.net/video/uRY7XzccQa8/видео.html) in Business Bay has lifts with M-Line fixtures (albeit with Vander indicators) also. I suppose there could be M-Line Schindler installations within those older buildings around Deira, but haven't seen one in person yet.

Really? Then these should've been Express Lift DMR, their long-running signature high-rise model. It makes sense how Express Lift Co. of the UK should have had a significant presence in the UAE, given the close relationship between the two countries.

@@markselevatorsandetc.937 And UAE was a British colony. It makes more sense considering how most former British colonies like Singapore, Hong Kong, etc. had Express elevators imported from UK in the past.

Even Ritz-Carlton Millenia is also undergoing the same fate. Which means that both the Octoganal buttons and the Black M-Series buttons would be extinct. :/

They're very easy to find if you're on one of the guest floors, as they are right next to the either of the fire stairs. It's a bit complicated on the podium floors, though I don't recommend filming the service lifts in a hotel unless you're a staying guest...
