Schindler Lebanese Restaurant Access Elevator @ Fairmont Dubai*****, Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE

The Lebanese restaurant Yeldizlar on the second floor of Fairmont Dubai could be accessed by a dedicated elevator, which is featured in this video, located off the building's office lobby. While the elevator looked similar to the high-rise internal elevators at first glance, it had a more spacious cab and slightly different interior design, with recessed ceiling and use of darker mahogany wood giving a more Arabesque atmosphere. It also was a hydraulic installation similar to the scenic elevator in the atrium serving the 1st floor restaurants, but with a slightly smoother startup. It also had two sets of COPs unlike the internal high-rise elevators, which only had one on the right side of the cab doors. For some reason, the floor indicator on the left side was aligned to the right, while the one on the right side was center-aligned. Other than the ground and second floors, it also had an extra landing on the first floor, which was represented by a blank button and not in service.
