No matter what i can't open OPENXR settings... With this configs it runs smooth mostly between 70 and 90fps but looks a bit potato.

Any feeling like to true force ?

I've been trying to make my quest 3 look even half decent I cannot manage it. I'm getting this weird sort of flickering effect of outside of what's directly in front of me. It really drives me insane and makes the game unplayable. It doesn't seem to matter what I change, it never looks good enough to play. Maybe my machine isn't powerful enough idk

I paid £200 for a TGT-2 wheel base, then I bought a boxed used few times T300 for £130, then I got the magnetic 3 pedals for £70. I combined them all and I got a TGT setup for £400 and still have a left T300 wheel base and 2 pedals. I can sell the pedals for £20/30 and the wheel base for £100/150 and recover half of what I paid

I bought a ps5 pro and disc drive. I never had ps4 or 5. I own ps2 and ps3. Played gt5 on ps3 with wheel. Anyway I just ordered. A thrustmaster t248 wheel setup wich I'll get at the end of the week with the idea that I might get a fanatec ddpro later . I loaded the gt7 disc. I got to the screen asking to prioritize frame rait or raytracing. Not sure wich i should choose. Anyway I found this searching if the psvr2 worked with it. I have a 65inch Samsung 4k tv and wasn't sure if the psvr2 was a worth while upgrade. With my I would play other games on it and wife's getting me a psportal but figured both are maybe possible options to game when she wants to use the TV. I can not set up a large sim rig in the living room because of space but will likely find somthing I can sitting on the couch with that can be put away. Please share any imput you have on all of this if you can

I’m racing a G923 and I’m having a hell of a time with my pedals not necessarily the steering. I’ve lost so many races due to the throttle jumping and having to just actually slammed down on the throttle I’m either thinking about buying a new wheel or just buying new pedals altogether to go with the Logitech, but I’ve lost so much faith in them. I’ve been racing that wheel for Three years now and it just started doing this about six months ago and I’ve cleaned everything I took the pedals apart and cleaned every little square inch of everything and there was no dust down in there. I kept those things clean. I kept a towel on them all the time so that way there’d be no dust. I mean I checked out $400 for that wheel and it’s not worth anything now and I don’t wanna drop 700 or $800 on a wheel. I mean I’ve been racing Gran Turismo since it first came out and that’s no joke. I’ve had every single one in Gran Turismo seven is by far the worst I really like your channel though man I’ve been looking for something that might make it worth racing again I mean I stayed up until three in the morning the other night on a work night working on those pedals cause I just wanna race again anyway I appreciate the feedback if any And dude you might just be casual but you’re a heck of a driver. Sorry if there’s any typos in this I was speaking the text. I’m freezing outside. Just wanted to say hello and put my two cents as far as Logitech goes. I think they’re all going to Direct Dr.,. I know you play nothing else on PSVR2 but for me after a bad race when I feel like killing someone I jump on Hellsweeper and take out all my anger there. nothing beats it!!! Also your mentality before racing can make a major difference, don't have a bad day then jump on gt7.

You are the man! It is really difficult when you have multiple tough ones in a row. For me it was Monza this week. I thought I'd do alright having done gold on the CE. Nothing could be further from the truth. I raced 5x, and finished dead last (minus whoever quit) 5x. I'll clarify one thing for others watching who may not know. Yes, dropping from A to B may not be that bad and could actually be good. But when you finally claw out of D and make it to C, if you get beat back down into D, it's an absolute hell-hole of middle-schoolers on controllers and true literal psychopaths. So no, I'm really not OK with being thrown back into the gladiator pits. I have no real advice, just commiserating. Sometimes stopping for the week and picking it up next week is the only viable option.

It's crazy that it does affect our mood and I will often end it on a good note so my last memory is a good one. However, we have those bad races and I find that I get angry and begin running qualifying laps and I run lap after lap after lap after lap becomes like a deep obsession and I'll typically get my best qualifying time of the week after something like this happens lol. True story, that's why I have such great qualifying times and don't do so well during the race story of my life.

Interesting you chose this race where we are given the opportunity in GR4 cars to fine tune the suspension. I know you don’t do this but should as it can definitely make a difference. There are other RUclipsrs that list the set up on differnt cars and it generally works on many others as well. My go to if I am having a bad racing day or night is “Call of Duty” where I am encouraged to punt/shoot opponents😂.. Also if your SR rating drops do a couple of race A and start at back and get a couple of clean race bonuses 🎉 ;)

Nice video Cas.. as you know I have started a US account recently and been working through a few lobbies.. I'd like to say that it's been fairly clean and there isn't much difference in the driving standards to the European lobbies. But there is a difference in the lobbies. And it's quite big. I've worked my way up to a B, but obviously quite used to mixing it with the A and A*. I thought it was the time difference or PD had twigged by my time but just seen your lobby is similar. 1st race I was a low B, I'm with A* and B rated drivers with a B safety rating. 3-4 second time difference in qualifying times over a 1.5 min lap. This is no disrespect to lower ranked drivers, I enjoy all battles. We all have to learn and work our way up or stay at the level we enjoy. But the difference is when racing high A/A* you learn to keep in range of the lead if you aren't leading , create a gap, bide your time, work together etc. then have a go. it's almost impossible with people who are fighting every corner and lap like it's the last. There isn't anything wrong with that if a majority of the lobby is racing like that as we all have done. I occasionally get quite different driver ratings or SR in European lobbies depending on time of evening but not normally both at the same time as I have in the US ones and like yours is there.

Great share Cas. Quite often when dealing with a bad night of racing, I know the blame is because of my preparation before the race and watching and seeing how the top drivers take each turn at what angel in what gear and when they brake or stay off the gas pedal. Not just one driver but several. But to get my mind off the race I will create a new livery color for each race I am in. Why?, because I record each race I am in and rewatch to see what went right or wrong. Only way to learn and not keep doing the same thing. Most ALL of my liveries have on the back of the car “PSVR2” in gigantic Font. I want other racers to know my vision for where they are behind me isn’t as good as theirs. Have only watched 4 minutes of your video so far. my impression is you will not blame other drivers that punt you😮. Because you should have braked earlier. And the reason is you are unfamiliar with this course in reverse. OK, Now you use the phrase “lower lobbies “ and am not sure if you are referring specifically to DR “C or B” rated drivers or lower lobbies where there are SR rated drivers with a SR rating-A or B or even C. These are accident penalty prone drivers. Could you clarify please……..ok back to watching rest of video😊

Agree with you on the feelings felt after losing when sim racing. I go through the same thing and I think it’s because even though you’re racing others, you’re really racing against yourself for consistency. You start kicking yourself for missing a braking point or apex only because you know you are better than that.

These manufacturers are just in the money, if they weren’t this product would be fully capable of running GT7 kits complete nonsense now it makes me not to buy the product if it’s not 100%

Does gt7 recognize the sequential right away? Or do ihave to do some sort of settings change. I had it working with h pattern but i just got vr and i agree with you . Older cars i wanna be able to sequential shift.

I understand the need of rationalisation, but the simple truth is that many people are dishonest and cheaters and this is simply frustrating, no matter how zen we want to pretend to be. The only way to prevent this is a system that is strict with both players for each collision, which is exactly what happens in real life. The ultimate responsibility goes to the Gran Turismo team that does not address this problem despite the overwhelming evidence. And this is why experienced drivers at one point decide to switch and play at iRacing.

I have a 2080 super and get it to run a steady 72 fps but i cant figure out how to get rid of a reflection flickering shimmering light on all objects, trying to figure out a setting or what to turn on or off to make it go away! Any help would be appreciated!

Do you think that with the 4060ti 8GB, it is good for quest3 in iracing? Does anyone have this config and can tell me how it is? My intention is to wait for the nvidia 5070 series but while I'm waiting I'll know if I can make the jump to VR, thanks in advance and happy new year

I have QUEST3 and PICO4. I use PICO4 most of the time because its double eye shadow is very good, and the lens is 1CM larger than Q3, which is more comfortable for my eyes. However, I watched a lot of YT and said PSVR2 is great, so I bought PSVR2 last week. It took me three days to complete the controller, and I spent a lot of money, but the results I got were not better than PICO 4. Although the OLED colors are good, the contrast is very bright, and it has a feeling of sunshine, PSVR2 lost its clarity. In the end I still chose PICO4 for PCVR. My computer is 4090, and it works great when running Flight 2024 and EA WRC! The performance on SKYRIM 1000MOD is very good, with only slight compression still acceptable.

i just returned my meta quest 3 due to the issues i was having trying to play Assetto Corsa Competizione, it was indeed very frustrating, im glad to hear that i wasnt the only one, im now steering myself into the PSVR 2, im happy knowing there wasnt a clear winner here, they both seem like really good VR headsets. tip I found when I had my quest - you can avoid fog in the headset (any of them) with a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit of dish soap - wipe the lenses with it, and it will prevent the fog.

hi i have quest 3 not 3s, is getting psvr2 for gt7 worth it ! psvr2 is on sale 40% off . till new year. Or just upgrade my old pc now it has 1060gtx pretty old now.. then play racing sims on steam ! I like your thoughts on this.

Wondering if all of you guys that continue the use of vr2 with GT7; I purchased the vr2 recently 12/24 and notice the highly descosed MURA effect in the vr2 screen and honestly the visual sharpness of the game if highly damaging the experience. I suggest you guys to see if you also are suffering from the MURA effect or is that some of the vr2 doesn't present that issue or maybe my eye site is more suseptible...

I had the TGT2 for more than two years, it´s a great base, the wheel it´s ok, but no matter what pedals set or wich Wheel Rim you use, it´s a great great, strong experience, i only upgraded to the T818, but i was really sad to let the TGT2 go, because easy of use, strong FBB, it´s for console and PC just plug & play and the transducer that it has feels really gooood in GT7

Omg, yes, there is a big difference. Was playing Vr on Pc... this year my wife hookup me up with PS5.. was ducking it for awhile because have to buy new wheel etc. Anywho, did it made the switch to PSVR2 and I am blown away its amazing. Sony got this VR thing on lock! Agree with you 100%!! You are in the race, not allowing the race to race you.
