My number one Italian brutal death metal band Posthuman Abomination isn't going to be on mainstream radio. Which I'm fine with because they would have to waterdown their music in order to be played on a platform.

It's interesting how subculture things once considered "weird" by the mainstream eventually becomes "cool" to the mainstream by the next generation or two. Computers, video games, comic books, rock n roll, metal, warhammer 40k, dungeons n dragons, gang culture/gangster rap, anime. Makes you wonder, if you could identify the emerging oppressed fringes of society, you could likely predict its coming popularity.

lol my first bands when i got into metal was burzum, bathory, candlemass, black sabbath and carcass somehow. although i listened to a bunch of other stuff at the same time. i listened to metal before, really liked rammstein for some time, but i didn't really got into other metal except them. maybe i didn't even considered it as metal lol, it was popular as hell in my country. but funny enough, i remember when i was like twelve and ievan polka meme was still really big, i used to be somewhat obsessed with this song, and i really liked korpiklaani version of. probably was the first metal song i liked

I got a personal cringe to share. My husband and I are both metalheads. Recently, our 5 year old daughter did a metal song at the school talent, and she did great. Naturally, as a proud mom, I sent a video to my mom to show what her granddaughter did. My mom poke fun at me, saying we are like the Addams family. I love the Addams Family, but I was annoyed.

I started my first battle vest a week ago and let me tell u it’s the most fun and exhausting thing to do. The amount of times I pricked my fingers, the stress of finally being almost done with a big patch for it to end up being crooked so I’d have to start all over again.. but in the end it will be all worth it. ❤

Some of things I don’t like is whenever you’re wearing black and somebody it might be an old person might say something like a you look like you are going to a funeral Or if you’re wearing a band shirt with a metal thing or your vest and you get called a devil worshiper like why do we still do this music and music? I get that there was a lot of bands in the 90s in the black middle area that were like burning churches and stuff, but come on specially the religious people like you’re supposed to be like good people that accepts everybody and then you go judging people with a tattoo or somebody who’s wearing a metal shirt Or whenever people think that they know metal and then they go and say that metallica isn’t metal or that they think and I kid you know somebody told me that Metallica freaking invented metal like no it was Sabbath. Wearing your metalhead uniform is pretty cringe. I love metal, but no one would ever know that by looking at me. Why do you have to dress up for the music you listen to? Same with punk. Punks wear their punkrock uniform, metalheads wear their heavy metal outfit... it's stupid.

When I was a kid in the 1990’s, I loved classic horror films from the 1960’s, 70’s, and early 80’s. I even loved horror from earlier decades (1920’s and 30’s were filled with gems). I use to watch Psycho (1960), The Exorcist (1973), and The Shining (1980’s) because each of those films were (and still hold out as) terrifying. Since the 90’s, horror slid. Many modern horror films work hard at being boring. Men (2022) was super boring that I rather just walk outside.
