how to tell that i am a metal head: i am a guy but i spend hundreds of dollars on my hair, i spend a lot of time sewing, i am straight but i call my favorite aritsts cute and beautiful, i spend way to much money on stuff that will just stand and collect dust in a shelf just because some german man from some underground speed metal band from the 1980s may have been in the same room as it. i wear lots of pieces of metal and fake bullets, it is super inpracticle but i think its cool (other people do not). i have memoreised every thing about my favorite artists and their bands, but i could not remember my math homework if someone held a gun to my head.
Whenever someone pulls up next to me at a traffic light blaring their blasphemous pop, rap, or country music I turn my metal up full blast. Yes, they give me a look when I do. 😂
When I’m not hanging with my kind of people, I’ll be the only one in a group of friends that will blast the volume up with aggressive rhythms, screaming vocals and whaling guitar solos in the car.
Concert Tickets are the biggest ripoff of modern times however, then you still have to pay over the odds when you there. Thats not including the reseller of the tickets either
I can recognise songs from my favourite genre from the opening chords then name the song, band, album and year of original release, usually following that information with "hey, turn it the fuck up!"
I take more care of my hair, cds and shirts, buy multiple shirts from bands, some doubles to cut sleeves off of, and spend a lot on band merch. More than necessary
I listen to heavy metal when coding and doing some other things, it feels great especially if the songs are angry/upbeat I like horror movies and seeing blood and gore although I have some limits i.e. I don't like disgusting porn or porn mixed with blood and gore I know some band albums but even if I don't know all songs of them I like listening to them and especially best songs of the bands I like I have a classical guitar and I rarely play it but when I do I record my playing and add distortion turned up to eleven because I know that heavy metal can be made even on classical guitars Whenever I hear rock and heavy metal in public I feel happy Before I bought my guitar I tried to make metal using synths I don't have much shirts and cds from bands but I have those of bands I like Sometimes when I see a piano I start playing it and try to make some metal inspired melody on it
Autumn and winter is my favorite time of the year, mead is one of my favourite drinks, lotr is my favourite film of all time, medieval RPGs like skyrim is one of the best video games of all time, and would rather celebrate walpurgis, Halloween and Yule than all that religious crap. One of my usernames are under the name COUNT xD living in the hilly woods is my dream come true. Black, red and silver are the best colors. Getting triggered every time hearing pop on the radio at work. I don't ever go to the hairdresser anymore, I just wait until I reunite with a family member do trim it a bit voluntarily which is once in a blue moon xD
I find learning things mindnumbing, yet spend a bit too much ttime learning how to pronounce the foreign song and album titles in the burzum discography
I ignore the volume warning on my earphones so often that when I went to see Grey Stag live yesterday, my earplugs fell out in the pit and I didn't bother finding them again.

i just got my drivers license, and i blast Nargaroth, Gorgoroth, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse and Morbid Angel in my car on full volume. i own 3 battle jackets, first one is full black metal, second one is full death metal and the third has all kinds of metal bands on it. i own A LOT black shirts, A LOT camo military cargo pants and i own A LOT black boots. oh yea and i love cats
I own 50 pairs of black shirts and jeans. I only own boots. My bookcase only has records in it. I hate religion. Also, I will not wear shorts that do not go below my knees. Also, I have tattoos. But will not get face tattoos. I have long hair and my beard is longer than anyone else.
