I think the main groups of "Conservative Christians" being rubbed up the wrong way are mainly certain apologetic groups in North America. And they really need it because they don't easily accept what science says, nor do they accept other Christians who disagree with their extreme apologetic views. But equally they are also very dangerous too. The way they justify the commands to wipe out people, slaughter everything including children and to take virgins survivors as your wives as being "if God commanded it, then it must be good", often leads to people lacking empathy. I am sicked when I see certain Christians say things like to their kids "Oh, that tsunami you just saw on TV, was god punishing wicked people...." or when they start posting things like "If god asked to kill and rape 2000 kids, I would do it because I have faith in God's commands...". There is something bloody wrong with certain parts of Christianity today, and these apologists - rather than real in their silly talk - are getting more and more ridiculous in their statements. And their followers either go into fundamentalist extremes like above OR wake up and become some of toughest anti-Christian Atheists! We need Scholars like Dan to remind Christians that they have to live with everyone else in the real world who don't share their faith and dogmas (and that science and data may not support their dogmas). And it's not us vs them, it is recognizing we all carry different beliefs, and the world is richer for it.

US approach to faith and Church is pretty intense compared to what I've seen growing up in Canada. It's August 2024, like 6 months since you posted this and these types of channels are promoted on my feed EVERY DAY! Even though I consistently hit "do not reccomend", they keep recommending new ones! How many of these channels are out there?! The worst are the "chosen ones" that encourage Christians to segregate from society and validates that through false Christian teachings. That's SCARY! If you don't see the issue, I'm concerned for you. We NEED to be very cautious with this new tech as it gets harder to decern from real content, real teachings and REAL effort from creative and talented people. God bless to everyone out there.

Most of the comments here makes me think a lot of people needs to read Bible. Jesus never told us to go to places where Devil is praised, if that was the way, why we dont go the bar or to parties, have drunk or why dont we go to Satanic churches if we should share the gospel with them too. I think people are misunderstanding what is to share the gospel of God, is not to mix with these people or these events where the purpose is exactly what Sam smith did. Christian people should not go to these places where God is rejected and is totally oposite of what God wants us to do.

Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned (Luke 6:37a). Criticism (opinion) vs judging (assuming) is related yet differently. The world will always attack those who speak about the Word and those who believe in it. What if they saved people from their performance at the Grammy? What if some of them began to go to church? What if people felt convicted? When one person's heart is changed, when one person begins to believe in Him, when one person feels the holy spirit for the first time, Heaven is jumping up and down, celebrating and rejoicing in the miracle. Where is the grace in all of this?

It sucks with all these channels, making supposedly Christian content with AI. I mean it would be great it it was directly from The Bible. But I also hate that if some of these are a Christian channel then they should hire real voice over actors and hire animators to actually animate these Bible stories. For example there is a C.S. Lewis devotional youtube channel called Soulful Devotions. The Voice is clearly AI but the content is mostly all from The Bible and the writing of C.S. Lewis. But it is so annoying because it says absolutely nothing about who really created the channel.
