Translators did not change the other names of places in the Bible. So, why did they change these? They made a bad hermeneutical decision by breaking the very rules of translation. They meant to clarify but instead, conflated definite places to just one place. This was the very thing that started a 15 year search to learn all about the biblical truth regarding the afterlife.
