I got almost 1700 total skill. Close to quest cape, close to 3 99s, i feel like I'm in mid to end game since best in slot gear and having a ton of gp doesn't mean as much to me (of course I want amazing gear and gp) 😂

Just started my first alt a couple weeks ago (I play an average of 10-15 hours a week).... i doubt id do more than 2-3 at once (need afk methods or i start to get drained) but its so fun to start fresh when its been years since I had a new account. META and optimal quests and quest helper have made builds quick, easy and fun to get those dopamine hits from constant level gains.... it also gives me fun things to do while I continue to work on shitty skills on main (like WC before 90, mining, RC etc) currently half way through optimal quest guide and just loving it.... was originall going to blast hard to get to vyres as quick as possible but enjoying the second semi-main style play through, will likely create a 3rd to do super afk shit like CB or something for now, and then enjoy bouncing which accounts im grindin and which Im enjoying playing.... just loving the game again.

bond buying is an endless pitt of despair and 0 progression. just pay for your membership and enjoy the game lol. barrows gloves arent teir 2 hey take a very long time to get in comparison to buyable items (maybe rune gloves teir 2) torture is pointless unless youre in BIS gear. fury is much better in almost all cases.

My goal list atm is -91 hunter (short term, I’m 88.) then casually hunting for myself. I genuinely love hunting -125 QP (currently 108) (Then quest cape) -Fire Cape Longer term as my personal desire/goal just because I’ve always wanted to -Sing my own Crystal gear Starting with the bow (as long as my sanity can handle it.) -base 70s in every stat, casually and not to hardcore. Then 80s for the stats I’m exited to give another go. Have fun running clues! I enjoy them, but I can’t do all of them, and get blocked by content walls.

I struggled with getting the fire cape. The solution for me was blood bark armor.

Im 2266 Total on my Ironman and what helps alot is to turn off xp drops and xp orbs they only show you how slow it is. if you turn it off you get imerged more into the grind and forget about time.

How on earth does one get a 500m bank without 95+ combats? Haha. Seems to unrealistic, unless you do bossing from base 70s and onward, instead of slayer. Idk. 😂

Even max efficiency takes MONTHS at like 12hrs a day. Aka, the regular person will take 5+ years

Late comment - I am between Legends/Veteran tier when you mentioned doing any PvM content EXCEPT Abyssal Sires, I felt that in my soul. I had gotten my first Abyssal Demon task today... and absolutely hated Sire. Two kills were all I needed before going back to Catacombs. Combat achievements can wait.

I think these categories are too large and too PvM-focussed. Iʼm near the end of Adventurer tier by this list (I need more bank and a couple of the harder or more expensive pieces of gear to get there), but a lot of my non-combat skills are in the 80s and a couple in the 90s. A lot of the major unlocks (map areas, fairy rings, etc.) are all in Beginner or Adventurer too. Also, even if you do want to divide it this way: having “Hero” and “Legend” tier names that are both after completion of the Heroʼs Quest and Legendʼs Quest doesnʼt line up with the existing naming scheme for progression.

100% agree on the graceful. That was so hyped when I started I did so much canifis at poor xp rate, then quit and did better agil courses. Now I just use stams everywhere so it's literally a non-issue. So long as you have a decent cash stack graceful doesn't make that much sense to prioritise.

Just watched this and it was helpful. The point about not panicking is 90% of the battle. Here are some things to note. Melees can be safespotted so never worry about these. Attack front to back, so melees then rangers then mage (as youll almost always be praying mage) Waves are small (3-4 enemies) so just think how do i do front to back. Rangers dont do a tonne of damage and with a decent range level youll them in under 20 seconds. Jad himself isnt hard when you realise back leg roar is mage / stomp is range. All you need to do is agro the healers and you can ignore them (all 4 were in a row and i didnt even put them in that position) I went in to "practice" with about 6 prayer and 15 shark and with no real thoyght that id beat it, more just to get the feel of it. If youre low level it wont be as easy but nor should it be.

completely absurd to tell noobs to get 70 prayer, protect melee is the logical goal for a low level to be able to cruise through all the early and mid game questing and content, 43 prayer is like 1 tenth of the investment compared to 70 and doesn't require spending hours running bones to the chaos altar. everything else makes some sense as a progression guideline. cool vid!

good video, i made 1 alt for brutal black drags, was great! realized gargoyles was a lot more afk and started that. i learned how to flip items and now sometimes i make 2m an hour on it just sitting at ge. crazy how many methods you can do to make money as an alt

Tiers are a lie. All you need is to afk some combat stats up then there is nothing stopping you from raiding in welfare gear and getting a 1.5bil drop or multiple 100mil drops that effectively jump your account multiple of these tiers. The reason people think mid game is never ending is because jagex keep adding more and more mid game content and players (especially ironmen) think they need to do all the mid game content before trying late game. Like I see people saying you NEED bowfa and DHL to do cox. Meanwhile my iron that has neither DHL or bowfa is 1500 kc at cox with all items other than pet from cox. Those "needed" items didnt even exist when cox came out. But yeah no wonder mid game lasts forever if you as an iron are grinding every single mid game boss drop before trying any late game content.

I still feel that your tier list has too far a monetary gap to make reasonable sense. The average player isn't going to have 100M just for the 2nd tier...And the minimum stats? My membership would run out by the time I could get that!

The reason i play ironman mode is because i know myself. the moment i can buy things of the GE i will start buying bonds for real life cash and simply buying all the things i need, skipping out on the entire game. To me, playing iron man mode forces me to explore the game instead and i really recommend it for first time players of the game for this very reason

I’ve put two attempts into fight caves so far. First attempt I died on one of the mage waves and the second attempt I made it all the way to the Jad healers but I got a bit panicked and fucked up and died. At some point soon I’ll go back and finish it off

The biggest issue with this tiering is that most people will be breaking 99 in the main combat stats except prayer long before they get 500m bank value

40s stats, rune armour, 10m... that is terrible advice. All your money at that point should be going into stats, you shouldnt have more than a 1m bank until you have like base 70s combats if not more
