As a bit on an animation nerd I can say I'm not personally a fan of the animation smoothing plugin. It looks good a lot of the time but there's a few reasons I keep it off:
- Some animations "cheat" to get it looking a certain way, like moving an element to make it look like something's rotating when it's actually just shifting back and forth. Any animation shortcuts that look good at a low FPS (Like standard fires as an example) become completely broken when smoothed.
- Interpolating key frames of animation with no care in how they should be eased together makes some motions way slower and less impactful than they should be. The two examples that immediately come to mind are fletching unstrung bows (Which are made to almost look like the knife is cutting backwards), and chopping any tree. The "Impact" upon hitting the tree is completely lost when it's smoothed out.
Obviously it's all just up to personal preference, but hopefully that all makes sense. Also unrelated, but I personally like the Jagex launcher, it gets you logged in quick without needing any workarounds like shortkeys 4 :P

There are plenty of broken animations from the plugin. For me the glitchy part is a trade off I accept, but I completely understand that it's not for everyone.
I think the jagex launcher in theory should be great, but the last few times the servers have reset the jagex launcher players have been the ones facing issues. I think it still needs quite a bit of work and the jagex launcher early adopters are unfortunately the ones paying the price for that at the moment.
Hopefully that's not so in the future.
@@ElysianOSRS You can use the jagex launcher without a jagex account. When you use the jagex launcher, you can add 10 accounts to it, and it lets you launch each account individually. When the client loads you can just click play, even if you logout you just click play again. You can still login via your user/pass in the black swan event that the servers are so overloaded you can't use the launcher.
I have loved using the jagex launcher, but I am not making a jagex account.

Yo, what plug in is it you use for having HP, Prayer, Run, Tics, etc. above your character. Looks insanely handy for people like me who tunnel vision on the character while bossing, thought it would've made the list. And nice vid man, keep up the good work!

Animation smoothing just makes the game look worse.
Otherwise great list, 2 i would add, though you may want to turn it off later, the true tile plugin is super helpful while learning the osrs movement, especially for things like sepulchre, 6:0 bandos, olm and p4 wardens.
And secondly, I forget the name of the option, but the prayer plugin option to put your prayer over your character, or the one that adds it to the sides of your inventory, also one you may want to turn off later to reduce visual noise
Great video. A+ kinda content im looking for. Im looking for a plugin that would tell me what prayers to use for certain enemies. As a first time osrs player i often get dont know what to protect from and get smmaaashed. Any ideas on something like that?
How do you tag the same item multiple times in bank tag layout? I see people do it a lot with food and potions. Might be a dumb question.
How do you do the item grouping thing?. Ive noticed a lot of youtubers have all their melee gear highlighted red, mage blue and green ranged

I do wonder why you've sworn off of using the jamflex launcher?
Do you know what plugin shows your travel path/tiles? I'm not talking about true tile but the actual tile you will be running across.
Path Marker is the most accurate one I've used, highly recommend.
Are you able to increase the volume of your voice in future videos? I find it pretty quiet in this one. Otherwise, loving the content!

For the bank tabs it would be cool if they had like a 1 click and it pulls everything from the tab like all ur farm run stuff 1 click pull or a pk gear setup ifu die just 1 click and boom its in ur inv
I agree that would be cool but as it currently stands jagex would have to allow that as the plugin would be doing dozens of clicks for you

Why do people keep recommending the bank pin keyboard plugin. The reason it is how it is prevents keyloggers from being able to view your pin or guess it based on click position.
Keyloggers are more rare these days and caught by basic antivirus that comes standard with windows.
If you've got a keylogger you're going to be in a lot more trouble than losing your RS bank pin, as they would likely get access to all your real life email and real bank info.
Also if its a script specifically targeted at stealing runescape data, most are smart enough these days that they will screenshot your runescape window as you click on the bank tiles, meaning they will find your bank pin anyway.
This is an added convenience with a less than 1% security risk.
