very informative, i liked how you talked through your thought process for why you're making changes as well as runnning the set up yourself with brewed stats rather than just sitting with an excel sheet open for the whole video

Hey a3ternalis here! Thanks for reviewing my setup dude. Super keen to try out the upgraded melee setup (especially since some kills vorkath just caves your head in with melee) and the range setup (which I've used in the past but didn't realise how much better it was). Also on the spec weapon/fang discussion I did try some lightbearer out at the expense of the berserker ring, will see if I can dig up the old times but I remember it 'feeling' really nice at the time over other things like BGS (but by the look of it DHL will be the ticket).

Great video! Love the equipment changes with the dps calculations! Watched like 10 vork guides recently, you’re the only one to say range will be more DPS unless you have Torva. Love the series

I like the concept. With fang you can ctrl click 3 tiles back to run back 2 ticks and walk forward for 3, pretty easy once you get used to it. You can also walk in a 2x3 or 4x2 if there's space.

Listing a few thoughts before continuing video. Possible upgrades: dh lance, defense draining special or dps spec, fang 5tick walk, walk during kill or upgrade armor, serp can eat some profit but maybe quite good here for +1inv & good str and defense helpful, rune pouch home tp +pool into bank tp, fremmy boots 4 or lunar isle portal/scroll, 1-2 brews for trip (drank before re-potting), manual cast crumble +1 inv if magic > -65, expensive str bonus: faceguard, prims, tassets. Super expensive: avernic(permanent price) ultor, torva.
Price-effectiveness analysis for upgrades? most price effective options seem fang to dhl, bgs, torso&legs for barrows if not walking during kill. next bgs to claws or Voidwaker maybe? then bandos, then other str

Would LOVE a video like this for nex. It seems like most gear set ups are either blessed dhide with arma cross bow straight to bis melee with zcb / tbow but what about gear set ups in between the two extremes ? Awesome vid once again

What's the plugin for switching bolts from Ruby to Diamond? I'm assuming that's why Vorkath has that white line on his health bar. Never seen that before. Fantastic Video as always, keep it up 👍🏻
I Believe its just called monster (or boss) HP percentage, and you can basically just set a custom % of health as a threshold for any boss
would it be easier to do vorkath melle then range becuase im having trouble killing it my self after the quest for head

Inventory tags are for noobs. Stop using them
Wouldn't it be much faster to just plug your gear into a dps calc and figure out what's better that way? Or even just look at the wiki and downgrade to the next best alternative. No hate, I love your content but personally I think your time would be better spent elsewhere. Maybe instead, you could make a video showing people how to use a dps calc and how to read/understand it would be better? I feel like that would help more people out. Inventory setups are a bit more tricky since most people fall inbetween the spectrum of casual to max efficiency, so certain setups would work for one person but not for another. (Example being choosing to sacrifice an invent slot for an extra food instead of a gear swap)
So I think yes and no, for example the DPS calc isn't going to suggest things like the justi legguards or inventory or stat changes. However I did use a dps calc of course, I was also looking at other options like replacing the serp helm with the nezzie, but it didn't offer a maxhit. I think there are also cases where certain things "feel" better than the maths, a good example is the soulreaper axe, it feels clunky and awkward to use despite being a super powerful weapon and mathematically one of the best.
@@ElysianOSRS I can understand that, especially the part about "feels better than the numbers say" which is why I mentioned inventory setups and how they might differ depending on how casual or efficient someone chooses to be.
My issue is that it would be up to personal preference at that point so someone looking to copy what you do wouldn't necessarily be getting the most out of it.
I did learn some things from your video so I could just be nitpicking or in the minority and it's totally fine the way you approach it.
