Mysterious tombstone along the San Antonio Riverwalk SOLVED
In my previous video, I did some investigation on a mysterious tombstone in someone's backyard along the San Antonio Riverwalk. Thanks to your research, it has led me to the actual final resting place of the person inscribed on that old tombstone.

Loved this mall growing up. There was two book stores across from each other on the second floor, and a kaybees. The movie theater had a tiny arcade and we would play galaga that was near the entrance of the theater open. Tucked in on the left side of the mall was a nice darkly lit arcade before going to the theater rooms

I am unable to find out the name of the mall (was Said) to house the current Alamo City Fellowship church on i35 . I really would love to know and see pictures of it in it's day. I feel like that is not a google search but something where you have to know someone older who was there.

I want to Thank you for the attention and video of our family’s Historical Graveyard. This is indeed a sad story of how corporations and developers refused us entrance by fencing and barring the family from even cleaning up the graveyard then continue to stonewall and be non-responsive. All of our pleas have been ignored by the landowner and developers. My son - Justin Keller and my father Joseph Bonnin a WWII veteran of the Battle at Tarawa and a member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe, my mother-in-law Violet Bacon, my father-in-law Edmund Bacon and those that came before them are buried there. As the developers planned, we would grow old, move and become despondent from the plight. I would ask for anyone who is willing to come forward with ideas or join voices of support as we move forward with this challenge. The Bacons and Beckmans settled this area in the 1850s. btw we have had family climb this fence to care for the plot many times but they have either passed or are too old to climb a fence anymore. You may reach me at RachelleVarnes@msn.com or by phone 210-218-4571 all ideas and encouragement are welcome. Thank you

This is my family cemetery. All this land around it, the entire rim, la cantera, and six flags were our families ranch. My husband and I went out there a couple years ago so we could visit it and start cleaning it up. We realized once we got there, there isn’t any feasible way into the cemetery. We spoke with the apartment complex who let us in the gate and he was very kind. We are having to look into who to talk to about them putting a gate where it is more easily accessible since when they did construction they didn’t think of it obviously.

A long time ago my cousin, a friend and I went there at night. The gate was open so we drove to the middle and then got off to walk around. They said they could hear noises so they wanted to leave pretty quickly. As we are exiting the cemetery a bunch of people in black robes started chasing our car out of there. Apparently there’s a group of supposed “satan worshipers” that hang in the area and mess with people. Not sure on what their intent or what they believe in but they did chase us out of there. That was a scary moment I won’t lie, my cousins car was old and slow so it was trying with all its might to get us out of there lol. We have never gone back since that night.

I remember frequently shopping there, when I first moved to town, in 1990. My aunt lived not far away, just off Austin Hwy. I got a small apartment nearby as well. I believe that JCP auto center was one of the places I'd applied to work that summer. Eventually got a delivery job later, though.

The writing on Windsor Mall was clear at the expansion of corporate development versus the aging residential areas of the area. Coupled with an unfortunate high crime rate area, the mall was sandwiched between Crossroads Mall (also now dead) to the north and the military communities of Lackland/Kelly AFB to the south containing their own shopping areas at the Base Exchanges. With the westside development, new shopping areas are cropping up with specialy stores and more conveniently located to new residential areas minus the crime rate.
