I enjoyed many a Lone Star beer during the 70's and 80's. It was the National Beer of Texas.

Wow! I worked at the brewery at the time they closed it down in September 1996. It’s been so sad seeing it just stand there and rot all these years. The employees there were more like family than co-workers and we still try to get together at least once a year. All this change is both encouraging and heartbreaking. My grandfather worked there as well as my father. I learned to swim in the Olympic sized pool there as a child. Thanks for posting and sharing this video. The memories are flooding back.

Really enjoy your vids! There’s so much in SA’s past. On any given day we drive by many memories. Thank you for documenting and creating a video library of what is here today and may be gone tomorrow!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I hope to not only capture forgotten cemeteries, but for gotten buildings as well!

I’ve heard the same thing you stated in the video. The plans to develop it similar to the Pearl.
