I get nostalgia looking at that place now. To think back in 2009 I visited and went inside haha. San Antonio is growing indeed

Man, you making me feel old. You were sixteen in 2008? I'd been married for 12 years!
But I'm glad you're back with the videos. Just be sure to take care of yourself.

The guy who used to live on that newly developed property. Would shoot in the air at people who would park in front of his house to go to the abandoned building. Early 2000s... I spoke too soon I saw the rest of your video lol

I remember that road being dark and spooky. I drove my son thru there one year and you're right it doesn't look so spooky now. Just like San Antonio State Hospital I used to work there and there are still tunnels with the walls having chains when there wasn't medication for schizophrenic patients so they would handcuff inside the walls of the tunnels and many people have seen sightings and just hearing weird things going on but now their going to demolish and are building a new Hospital. Sorry for long comment. I'm pretty sure the ghost will still be around cuz that's where they died.

You understand! And I had no clue there are tunnels underneath the state hospital. I wish those buildings were abandoned. It would've been cool to explore..

Sad to see this area get wrecked. I can see the city of San Antonio tearing down the historic mission's just to make more sub divisions.

I don’t really think there was anything spooky about it in the first place. I wasn’t old enough to witness the glory days of this site, but I did go once I thought it was ‘mehh’ same thing with the ghost tracks.
Edit: also, I wouldn’t be too worried about things changing with new people coming in bc San Antonio’s history goes back 300+ years and I would love to see them try to put a Starbucks in the Alamo gift shop. In my humble opinion this site holds little to none cultural or historical significance.
