My suggestion to anyone thinking of buying an RV, Stay away from La Mesa RV. I speak from experience and what my neighbors went through. By a rig from a "Mom & Pop" place, Like "Little dealer, Little prices. They stand behind everything they sell, or fix. I have heard Lazy Days RV is another reputable RV retailer.

We own a 2015 Jayco jay flight 33ft and cant be more happier. Very solid trailer, floor still solid. Our very first issue came after 8 years of service in 2023 when the propane tank regulator gave out. And now in 2024, the ac is starting to give us issues, but we are full time rv’s, the ac is basically on 24/7 for the last 9 years, so even if we have to buy a ac unit, we are very happy.

Just think of you had 3 or 4 kids ripping and tearing it your RV. The camper wouldn't have a chance. Always a long wait at the dealership for RV work ... Cause they are all junk! Thanks for great videos

Sounds like the place we bought our RV from they really don't care after they sell it to you. I have really had no major issues with the trailer but every time I have been back to ask questions about add on parts I get the same response they don't care. I did need to reinstall the power panel on our trip due to roads being a little bumpy(road construction everywhere) I did need a gas hose once and they had no clue about what I really needed and had to show them the correct one I was looking for as they didn't understand at all. From now on I will just take care of it myself and I would guess thats what they want.

What needs to be done write to Trump for a federal law wanting a lemon law for RVs. That is the only way things will change.

We missed Oshkosh this year. We burned up an axle on the way from Cedar Rapids to Wisconsin. Since Covid, no one keeps any parts in stock. Manufacturers realized they didn't need to make anything until it's ordered. Hence, no new axle for 3 weeks. Had to drive all the way back to Arizona. No rentals available. Couldn't stay with family because we had our cat. Ruined our whole summer!!!

Wow! I’ve been eyeing a 2021 Jayco White Hawk 28rl , but after watching all of the videos about travel trailer’s nowadays, our rooftop tent will do just fine! It’s a shame. We had a 2004 Prowler for years with no major issues. Guess we should have kept it😂 They just don’t make stuff like they used to:/

I'm sad to say, we bought a new Alliance 5th wheel and wish we'd just kept our old Jayco Jayfeather. New trailers are just so stark and colorless. Our Jayfeather had nice wood cabinets. Lots of storage. Very warm and comfortable. 5th wheels ride a lot better, but was it worth it? No....

I would imagine the dealer never followed up on the warranty claim because you told them you were picking up the camper and to cancel the parts orders.

We usually camp about 40 miles from there, and just drive in each day. Over the years, I've flown in there many times, also. Believe me! It's best to drive in rather than fly. Just don't camp there....

Oh, I forgot.... In our new 5th wheel, the shelf in the door of the inFurion refrigerator cracked. All we had in it was a jar of peanut butter, and a jar of salsa.

Some company needs to challenge Lippert. Since they've been controlling everything, well... everything has gone to hell!!! New travel trailers and 5th wheels are pretty much all junk. Don't waste your money.

Totally agree, they are all trailer trash now. These warranties are useless if you want to actually be camping in your camper. If you are not a motivated handy repair type of person then I highly suggest you buy used and get it inspected by someone reputable first.
