Kinda fun watching you go through these, almost like being at an RV show! I never miss an episode - you guys are fun to watch! Onward to the next trailer!
Whatever you do buy a trailer that breaks down all the time😂. Think of all the laughs and views you will get out of it!! Ok that was my poor attempt at humor. You two are at the top of my list on RUclips. Stay safe and keep enjoying each other. Thanks for these moments where you pull back the curtain and let us peek in.👍🤠
I would recommend looking at the "Pause 20.3" by Palimino". Absolutely fantastic, and by far, second to none in the current RV industry. They just expanded their line to include the all new "Reboot 19.4". Also, the X-195 by Imperial Outdoors. All American Made!! You won't find anything with better quality in my humble and insignificant opinion... Pricing and floor plans my or may not be what you're looking for, but the quality is undeniable.
I really enjoy watching you guys videos...very fun,and informative..I really like how you take us to different parts of the country in your RV's...Places I could only dream of seeing otherwise..Please keep making videos...I'm new to your channel,so I have been catching up...
We bought a Grand Design 2670 and towed it with a ‘19 RAM 2500 Mega Cab and later a Ram 3500 Dually w 1000 lb Equalizer hitch. When the trailer was empty it towed like a dream. Loaded w/o water the 2500 porpoised on many highways, even with the air suspension. The one time we loaded the trailer to max GVWR, for a cross country trip in the dually we had the same issue on I40 thru Little Rock.
When I watch people do camper walk throughs they neglect the most important part. The roof. Get on the roof and look at the quality of that. The material they use and if they took the time to seal everything correctly and if they sealed the membrane down correctly. If they did that there should be no wrinkles or bubbles. Your roof is going to be your most expensive fix and nobody checks that. If I get on the roof and find any bubbling or wrinkling or bad sealing I get down and walk away. I don’t even go in the trailer until the roof passes.
Great review! I'm a fan of the Alliance Delta 262RB. It's under 30 feet long with 2 air conditioners and 50 amp service standard. The rear bathroom is very large as well. I'm sure whatever you decide on will be awesome!
Watching you guys for awhile now I would recommend that you purchase a twenty year old trailer gut it and rebuild it the way you want it. On another note if I was a RV dealer and saw you on the lot I would run to the office lock the doors, turn off the lights and hide. Just Saying
The secret to RV'ing is to travel by air or car and stay in really decent hotels along the way. Leaving the RV at home it can be used for storage or a really unloved mother in law.
I wonder if any travel trailer manufacturers are watching your videos? You have pointed out the awful things as well as the things you would want. It would be easy to combine a few into one perfect trailer. These have been the best, mostly because you 2 have done the trips in them and you just tell us what happens with the things that are bad, like having the tank dumps next to the electrics in the storage where you would store stuff. I have never bought a camper and I knew that was a bad idea without Mike telling us about how the water will shoot out all over everything.
Don't be so fast to drink the marketing kool-aid. They are too new. Looked at a new 5er last week. It was obvious the slide seal leaked as the paint was peeling up from the floor. No rv is perfect.
Its amazing how the flimsy build comes through in the video ,i think full time RVs should be of stout build quality . I just dont see you two in a pull along ,still think the motor home was the way for you . That bedroom side wall cabinet, would be a real head catcher with the sharp corners , especially with your tallness 😅 Ultimately you cant tow a pull along and take your boat with you, that to me is a disadvantage, why not wnjoy it on holiday ?back to a Motorhome that can tow the boat ,im sure there are pakes that need discovery and fishing .
before you buy the travel trailer, go trade that gas'er in for a Duramax or a Cummins.....night & day difference for towing (and beefier transmission too!)
If we were only going to use it for towing, we would get one in a dually. We have done quite a bit of towing with the power wagon and it does tow like a 3/4 ton, plus we can really go off road!
all good...my 1500 V8 (5.3L) did marginal with my 6500lb (dry) 29' trailer, but my new 6.6L Duramax 2500 barely knows it's back there. 😊 See you at Oshkosh.@@irritatedtraveler
All these travel trailers seem to be junk. Maybe you guys should start searching for the very high-end travel trailers. Unless that’s not in your budget.
Now that we have a place to repair and make improvements, it's not such a scary thing. Not to mention, when something breaks, we don't lose our house in the process!

Great info for those looking for these in the near future. Hey Mike hope your knee is healing well. Great vid.
Glad you seem to be doing ok with yr injury. I like learning all the differences.
Enjoyed the experience! Thanks again for sharing
These trailers look like would be lucky to last a couple of years!
I still can't believe how much you guys changed your house. It was a mess and now it looks amazing. Only a year too.

We had that issue with our first toy hauler. It towed fine empty but add any weight and it was a nightmare.

That’s funny.

Our dogs would be lonely!
Find a dog minder to house sit and mind the dogs (option)😊@@irritatedtraveler

Hey y’all, I was wondering what happened to you. Getting another trailer 👏🏼👏🏼
We didn't have enough punishment before!
I 100% agree with your basic assessment. My opinion…Overpriced by $10,000
So I keep seeing a "fireplace" in a lot of these.
Do they actually make heat, or are they just a waist of space?
They do put out quite a bit of heat but we don't plan on going anywhere cold!!
It’s considered free heat, because your not using your propane. Electric comes with the site.
Yeah at a certain point all of them start looking and feeling alike. The only difference is the name. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.
That's pretty much what we found.
Do you plan to sell the house after you get another travel trailer?
No plans for anything but we couldn't live in a travel trailer anyway!
Assuming you ruled out an Airstream? If so, good idea.
I think so!
BRINKLEY!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So true… BUT 21/2 times the cost

You need to see a Brinkley trust me
Overweight
It's too new. Saw a new one last week and it was obvious the slide leaked. Don't believe all the marketing.

Standard features, wasted space, and potential water hazards? Sounds like a typical RV experience to me
Keep away from cable slides.!
Look at ATC

That's where we started but there really aren't any in this size range.
@@irritatedtraveler So what’s the next step? Just deal with what your options are?

Do yourselves a favor keep the money in the bank and stay in a hotel. Most are dog friendly.
It would same some money but there are no hotels available in some of the places we plan on going!
