Wow, you're both working your tails off ........ and your home is looking great. Keep up the good work. You should be congratulated for having such a good work ethic.
Hi, That water issue where you say it's still getting in the basement, would need the ground pulled back ,any block work repaired and sealed , drainage installed, metal backfill and maybe toe that all in with what pipes are there ,they must go behind the garage ?I suppose the same for a long that retaining wall ,that would need the water diverted around to the end of the house and down to the Lake ,if you're allowed. But the drainage might actually be there ,could be silted up etc , something that you may already know or need to investigate. Like how you are putting your stamp on things ,once it's all tied together, then I guess you'll need another challenge. What wildlife is in the Lake I wonder ? Keep up the good work
It’s possible the lights in the ground illuminated small trees at one time. That seemed like a popular thing in the 90s and the never removed the light fixture. At first I thought it might have men for flag poles but then you found them randomly placed. Just a thought.
In that area by that one air conditioning coil a sump pit with a sump pump might be better cause you have a power outlet newer sump pump pit setups have a battery backup for power outages and run the drain line to the nearest French drain you put in
Another cool video guys. Wow, $280 for all that stump grinding work?, I don't want to spend your money for you, but I think the Stump Guy deserves a little bonus...
Love our Japanese Maples. We're tired of regular mulch which has to be refreshed twice a year. We're seriously considering rubber mulch. Probably cheaper in the long run. Good luck!
Jeez Us, your place is really coming together. Dude, (and Dudette!) keep that stump guy's number, and get references from him for friends on any work you need done. SCORE!!! You can rent RV's, I'm pretty sure? There's a HUGE place near me, here in SE, Pa. Shady Maple RV Rentals. Congratulations Angie, on passing your motorcycle license test! I knew you could do it! How tall are you guys? Is there a type of bike you 've seen you like? Indians, HD, Moto Guzzi? I'm a Honda/BMW fan, they're just bulletproof machines. I think you might want to consider adding a taller interlocking retaining wall, in front of that stone one, and adding 3' to 4' in height, and extend it out passed the ends of the house. Then backfilling it to shed all that water from the lawn, and street off to the sides of your house? What's a love bug? You mentioned Florida, so Pimiento Bugs? Stay Well, Love you two, WB
@@irritatedtraveler Hummmm, a Ninja 250/300/400/600/650/1,000cc. What size, cause there's a lot! lol! She's a new rider, so I'ld recommend a better bike, not bigger. Something with antilock breaks, and less Zoom Zoom, more Varoom, Vroom! lol! Check out the Royal Enfield twin 650 for her, or maybe a Honda CB500X, or the CBR500R. The 250's are to small for any adult, and she'll get bored so quickly. As for you, I'm 6'4", and I've had Honda, Gold Wings since I was 21. Along with a few BMW's, and Ducati's. If the a Brit bike shop near you? Check out the Triumph Rocket III, it's outstanding in ever form, and you're big enough to manage it. They're heavy at under 8 mph, but then come to life from there to 160! There a lot of great 750cc bikes out there too. I wouldn't touch a HD unless you love to blowing 1 day a week just working on your bike? One of my bf's Jake, bought a $35,000 HD Fat Boy (It's Beautifull!) It was dropped off on Wednesday night. Saturday we're set to go for a ride, and it's dead as a door knob. Starter solenoid, but Harley has to do all the warranty work, so 6 weeks in the shop.(no I'm no kidding!) BMW's are Great machines, but they are pricey! But as you both know, you get what you pay for! Peace!
If you need a large number of mulch bags, why don't you order a dump truck load to be dropped and you can use a wheelbarrow to spread it all around at a far lower cost?
Strangely enough, a truckload of mulch was much more expensive than just buying the bags. We also have multiple levels in our yard so a wheelbarrow doesn't work well.
OOHH My.. Where have you been!!??! LORD.. I missed those...😉.. 🥰 you both 💯%❤!!! Cheers, Bernie
Oh my! Everything looks so amazingly beautiful! And I mean EVERYTHING! Good to see yall again!
Your house and boat house are really starting to look amazing. Great work ethic from both of you!
Great work! Thanks for sharing
Looks awesome! You guys need to buy a gorgeous vintage wooden 1930's Chris Craft boat to keep in that boat house. You'd be the talk of the lake!

Yeah, we gave him $350 and had to make him take it!!
I’m tired just thinking about all the work you two have done. Take a break.

Yes, the fabled Palmetto bug! Angie is looking at a Kawasaki Ninja and I'm still undecided. At 6'3" options are a little thin for me.

I would guess those lights were under a small tree many years ago, tree was cut down and they just filled in over the lights???
Looks great! North Carolina?
God damn she's gorgeous
Your doing a awesome job . Going to be a show case home . What state is the house in ?
Some Blue Damson plum trees would be cool. Or whatever types are native in your area.

An axe and shovel would of done the same thing for free! LOL but I guess its nice when you got money.
Are you enjoying home ownership more than RV ownership?
Well it does keep us busy!
@@irritatedtraveler From a retired Navy Reserve O-6, you're probably working more now than you were in the Army. 🤣😂
Who was in the military?
You ever see any gaters in the lake?
