Those little 3.3ph engines are awesome. My one has save a few fishing trips when I've had a issue with my big motor. A got home. B still got out for a fish when traveling up the coast and the big motor has issues. Tip for you if your using it for a sustained amount of time mix some gas into a e2 or similar bottle so you can refill the motor on the go.

Flat boat, no worries. Keep fishing, it will be fine. That engine swap .... the anticipation of Tasman dropping in 15 m of water, then diving down to collect it. But no. A safe pair of hands. I did notice the big motor was at least tied to the boat, hopefully not the flat side. Cool diving, nice viz. That crayfish was no match for welders gloves. I feel like you should announce that in every time... mask, snorkel, flippers and welders gloves. Awesome sunset. Good luck in Fiordland

I thought a skinny hind in the freezer meant it was a cold night for you in the tent. But then, ofcourse, you’re a buck. I started to type something about how impressive it is that you self motivate to get out there in the cold… but then I realised you never start before 2pm, so you lull yourself into a false sense of security until that first night… then ell freezo. The number of lighting attempts before reaching for your lighter, typical, and gold. Pretty interesting walking around with all those animals, and an epic sunset. The kebabs were epic, I was impressed. They’d be impressive at home, let alone over a little camp stove. I usually watch each video twice, and realised that I’d definitely watch all of this, just didn’t comment. I must have been distracted. Is that butt you made still going strong?

Great write up in the NZ boating magazine! I really liked the story of how Red Current got its name. I thought you just really liked berries or something. 😂 But I have now learnt a new natural history fact about the Tory Channel so thanks for that. I hope this weather plays the game and you get out to Fiordland soon. We are also out on the water for the winter and the weather had been unsettled and unreliable to say the least.
