- Tasman goes diving with a new friend who has never been diving, we have a bit of fun and manage to get onto a few paua and kina!
Later in the vid Tasman goes for a quick wee mish to a similar spot and has a bit of a splash!
Thanks for watching 😁
1 fin each.... comedy gold right there!!
works pretty well actually 😂
Another great episode Bro, its fantastic how basic parts of your setup is and how much fun and adventure you have with it. All too often channels go big and fancy and to the everyday folk become un relatable, of if after inspiration (un achievable). You showcasing all you need is the sence of adventure not the fancy gear! Well done
Thanks Luke! Yeah that's one of the things I like about the channel too, nothing to fancy 😁. I'm sure we'll take on a few sponsors over the years but absolutely won't go overboard 😂. Thanks for the comment mate, really appreciate it🤙
Good on you Tasman for taking someone on an adventure they'll never forget. Character building stuff...champion.
Cheers mate! Was fun taking a friend out for a wee trip 😁
Awesome sharing all your gear with a newbie, hard core snorkeling in winter in a shorty with one fin and one glove each and no snorkel😂 well done with the kaimoana. Were the little striped fish baby red moki?
Thanks Dad 😁 Wasn't too bad really all things considered 😂. I'm thinking they were red banded perch, they seem to have the distinctive 6 pale stripes, they only grow to 20cm!
Legend Tasman - You have developed an amazing capability to enjoy read and navigate your environment - I m frequently blown away by the calm but switched on attitude with which you traverse from land to sea successfully . You have captured some awesome animals , fish , shellfish etc etc - boat skills , navigation , diving , hiking , shooting , butchering , camp skills , cooking , planning , filming editing , wow your one accomplished survival machine and sorry for any one who ever under estimates or takes you for granted outdoors . Keep safe and keep providing both the Kai and more content. Your next level dude
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it, you're too kind 😊. Plenty more content on the way and thanks so much for your comment, and for watching 😁
Mean bro
your a brave man going out in this freezing cold weather great effort getting out there and doing it awesome buddy
Cheers mate! Waters not toooo cold yet 😆
Brave Dan and generous Tasman. The best surprise was that this turned out to be a double feature. If only you'd bought a rifle, there could have been lamb as well; it had crossed the riparian boundary. Very cool caves and another excellent adventure. Is Dan going to be the new comments secretary or apprentice adventurer - ie boat and carcus carrier.
He did look pretty tasty that young lamb 😂 may not have been very much appreciated by the farmer tho 😅. Unfortunately Dan's leaving the country in a couple weeks so we may not be seeing much more action from him... thanks Paul!
Whoa that cave was cool. Nice catch there lads.
amazing!
A really good New Zealand diving and spear fishing video. Thanks Tasman - the pesky anchor recovery looked a bit cold LOL - the damn things get wedged in those rocky spots so easily!
Thanks mate! It was really cold 😂 I'm just glad I anchored so shallow, advantages of a small boat!
Pretty sure that was a little red moki at the end. Common up north.
I looked it up and I'm thinking it's a red banded perch, same number of white bands 🤔 red moki may have a smaller head?
@@NZWildAdventures Fair call. I think red moki are a bit "taller" too.
Omg. Skinny dipping in April? You are X Treme. I think I would have spent the time to get wetty back on cause I am soft. I tried the kina a few weeks back for first time as well. I liked the saltyness. Definatley seafood flavoury, gotta be tried.
It wasn't to bad for the few seconds I was in, but wouldn't recommend 😂, just glad the anchor was so shallow! Kina definitely gotta be tried, perhaps I'll try again on a phatter one sometime, this one wasn't huge, or good 😂
Outta 10, how good was tht salty kinux Tas😂 yr mate wasn't impressed😂. Good hauls, Awesome double ep , love the sea adventures bro, nga mihi 👏👍👉🏽💥🐟
Haha me neither, not even a 4 I'd say 😂 cheers Ian!
Nice
Sea perch!
Nice 😊 🤠👌👌💪💯🤙🤙
Which model gopro do you use? footage is very good.
Gopro hero 5 black for this vid! Also have a 10 but it's screen is kaput 😂 cheers
Tasman for each video put some key words in the vid description like : #NewZealanddiving , #NewZealandsmallboatadventures , #NewZealandfishing , #NewZealandhuntingdeer, and any others you can think of bcos this will help the youtube search algorithm find your videos when folk do searches. Your vids are good and this will increase the chance of them being found on you tube.
Thanks a great idea! I should start doing that 😁, thank you!
Kina are an acquired taste for sure I like really good phat ones. Wouldn't swap for a Paua though.
Yeah I'm not a huge fan aye 😂 I wouldn't either!
what brand is your Fluro camo fleece jumper?
Hand made by my lovely mum! She's been making progressively larger and larger versions of it since I was like 4 years old 😂
@@NZWildAdventures haha Awsome
What length and brand is your boat?
She's a 3.6m OceanNZ Inflatable, unfortunately they went out of business in 2020 though.
@@NZWildAdventures ah bummer cheers!
Hey team. We have a similar boat. Lets coordinate a mission
Way to go bro mean……
