You’re truly a machine. A ball of muscle and determination. Epic scenery. Blue sky makes everything better, especially with snow, ice and mountains. You’re going to love looking back at these in 20 years time and remembering how hard core this is and how much you carry. I noticed that someone make a comment that referenced Tikka… and I immediately wondered if I’d missed you making some Indian food, but no, it is a gun thing. You do exceptionally well with these solo videos. A nice combo of wicked editing skills and exceptionally personable. This channel could easily have died without the two of you, but no, it’s still awesome. Beautiful footage, great animals and plain awesome Tasman. So, just same old same old and dam it’s good to live vicariously 😊. Your words summed it up nicely, “pretty spectacular”
Hahaha I wouldn't go that far, but thanks 😆. I wonder when I'll start slowing down, bones aren't too achey just yet! Oooh Tikka masala's definitely gonna have to be on the menu now, good idea 😂. Arved's been talking about getting into a bitta spearfishing so hopefully we'll see a vid or two coming later this year 🤞. Thanks Paul!
Awesome video Tasman! Thankyou again for sharing your craft, culture and also the amazing landscape with us. Your love for the wild and a good cook up is a joy to watch! Cant wait to see whats next!
Many thanks for demonstrating the contents of your pack Tasman - was good to see how you roll. I've seen your stock making vid, it's never going to snap in half. That stock is a work of art mate!!
Probably more animals North. Were in the 70's-80's, and the same places filmed recently show the bush has got more eaten out, & the success rates show plenty of animals. Their populations have surged everywhere away from pest control sites, and in them in the case of tahr.
I’m just new to your channel young fella. I just love your relaxed attitude with no bull shit that you get from others Am interested in what calibre your rifle is and do you use factory ammunition. Cheers.
Thanks so much! Glad you're enjoying the vids 😊. My Tikka is in .270Win, and I use Barnes copper reloads my dad makes up. They end up around 3 bucks each but no lead contamination! Cheers Graeme 🤙
@@NZWildAdventures Now that would be excellent entertainment to watch. Hint, it might not be the tahr you'd be feeling sorry for, it's likely you'd be wanting to kill it dead with your bare hands if you happened to win.
awesome effort once again tasman. im one of those rehydrated people but tryna change my ways. what was your recipe just roughly for those buns please thanks
Thanks mate 😁, rehys definitely faster that's for sure 😂. Sure, for the dough it was plain flour, oil, salt, coconut cream, and baking powder, though I must admit they were a little dense the next day 😂 so definitely go for yeast instead. The filling was onions, garlic, ginger, fine carrots, mince, salt, soy sauce, and some flour to thicken. Enjoy 😋

Thanks Brian! Haha yeah the ol stock has outperformed any expectations I had 😁. Though I'm thinking perhaps a thumb-hole stock for my next rifle... 👀

Great video. Really enjoyed the adventure & commentary
Twin needle in chch can add more loft to your sleeping bag ,saves buying a new one
They are an awesome shop
Cheers mate! I'll check them out 👌
Do you not have an insulated sleeping pad? Hard-core. Hey for car keys - North Beach sells a lock box that you can leave on the vehicle.
Haha nah, only when there's a lot of snow on the ground, otherwise the grounds all good 😂 ah that's a good idea, I'll check them out, cheers!
cool episode would be keen to know more on what you take to eat, your meals look epic

Paul recons those fences are for when the old boys used to take horses up there , usually there beside a hut though
Yeah there was one by the hut which was definitely for the horses but the deer netting one looked just a little different 😆
@@NZWildAdventures Deer traps have gates (gateways if gates removed), sometimes wing fences.
Nice 😊 🤠👌👌🤙🤙💯💪💪
Were this place looks amazing
Rangitata 👍
Bao buns 😎😎👍
BRoooooo how do you not freeze without a sleeping mat! Great video again as always!

Hahah streamed Siopao , Iv seen it all now Tasman!
You get any closer to those Tahr bro and you will be putting a saddle on them 😂👍
🤣 not a bad idea! Was thinking catching one by hand would be ultimate bragging rights, but I'd feel kinda sorry for it 😂

To much taz good Cook up,hard and fast gear review, plenty of animal for the tikka 270 to chose ,keep up the good filming.
Thanks mate, cheers for watching 😁
I expect those fenced areas were to hold sheep from musters in the earlier days , collect them up and drive them out.
Mmmmm I was thinking that particularly for the square sheep fence down in the valley, probs not necessary to have deer fences for sheep tho aye

Great vid! What did you make the steamed buns with?
Thanks! Some tahr mince that I made last episode 👌
feed the machine
😂
Love it, did you stay in hut at beginning? Can be freezing at best of times! Always good numbers around there
Yep, in the first part last episode, she's cold but a super nice hut!
Fantastic video what caliber is the Tika
Thanks for watching! It's a .270 Win 👍
Either deer trap or deer exclusion spot.
Legen.... (5 min later) ...dary!
The white headgear isn't the best camouflage. Glasses are enough handicap to give them a sporting chance
Haha no, though those tahr don't seem to mind 🤣
What's the macpac tent model Tasman
Apollo UV75 as far as I can tell 👍
