The camera is bad because it was the first 3d platformer to have one. Prior to that 3d games had been using tank controls. That's why the game is considered revolutionary, because it created the control format that's become standard

It's an awesome game. The non existing versus mode is the *only* problem this game has. The rest is a solid 10/10.

you go on twitch at any time and like over 95% of the streamers are speedrunning, along some occasional mod player and very occasional casual player, i would say that's a factor lol; i still consider it overrated on the relative to speedrunning when comparing to other games out there too, but on the nerd scheme of things this game is quite cooler to get on hang speedrunning than it's casual experience btw is hard to tell what is serious and what is a joke, but i like to think that yoshi just jumped to the water and went swimming away happily :D

I said this on other video reviews, but Mario 64 is the only 3D Mario that throws hands. Every other 3D Mario game relies on a gimmick while scrapping basically all of Mario's standard attacks from 64. I think if they kept all of those attacks as well as throwing a gimmick in, the rest would hold a candle to 64. The only exception being Odyssey that gave us creative ways to use crappy. There's so much Cappy can do, but I do miss Mario's original 3D attacks.

The Circle Pad is a cheap imitation of what a real joystick is, it's a shame that Nintendo continues to make such lousy and poor hardware. It's a shame because Mario is a great game... 😒

Love ur videos but all of these decisions would just ruin Nintendo financially. U want them to split the portable and home console division again???? There’s a reason why the Wii U had so many game droughts and that was bc their development teams had to be divided into a portable and home console division. Also bringing back the tablet is beyond stupid. Love the Wii U but that thing overpriced it and held it back. It just makes sense to stick what they’re doing, especially when portable gaming handhelds are a lot more capable compared to 2017
