Was Kid Icarus: Uprising Any Good? | Noob Reviews

So Kid Icarus Uprising was one of those games that I had just MISSED for most of my time with the 3DS, but given the servers are shutting down alarmingly soon and I've heard beforehand that this game has a solid multiplayer mode I just had to give it a go for the first time. I kinda sucked at it so that may have skewed my rating a bit but I think this is still worth talking about.

As someone who actually played this game growing up, it was REALLY good. I was always addicted to the multiplayer mode.

honestly i think the stylus controls allow a significant amount more precision than would be with traidtional twin stick controls. i've never had issues with my wrist hurting like everyone complains about so i never got those complaints
and someone else has already said this, but different weapon types have different stats, like homing, run speed, fire rate and melee damage. like clubs are entirely melee but move like molasses, but the earthmaul club has melee range comparable to other ranged weapons, and the phosphora bow (my favorite weapon) has a ridiculous fire rate and decent homing, in exchange for weaker damage at close range

Trust mother 3 is getting localized. Just got released on japanese NSO, now we just gotta hope. Also play on a higher diff then 7. That dark pit and pit scene with the wings is nowhere near the first 5 chapters.

Weapons each have their own unique stats and modifiers that go beyond just what mods you put on them

I respect your opinion but I very much disagree. I love the games writing and the constant jokes. It’s something we rarely get in Nintendo games so getting it here really felt like a treat. I also think the controls work very well. The only problem with them is that it starts to hurt your hands after a while, which is pretty annoying. I love both the flying and ground sections and I think all of the bosses are really fun
