I disagree. I currently own a zL1 and a 1LE and a Saleen black label and a new Mach 1. I believe with the tremendous success in sales Ford is having w/ the new s650 (not just becuz it is the only pony car v8 option either) becuz it is a terrific motor/car design. Having that pressure of sales rocketing for ford. I feel Chevy will go back and change their minds and bring us a new Maro in a few yrs giving a v8 new platform. Just same as Chevy/ford announced they were doing away with all their cars pre Covid 4 door sedans etc. however, realizing they made a mistake all those big name coups and sedans are now coming back next yr.

It makes me sad your car is in the rain... I have a 2020 2SS with just over 10,000 miles, it has NEVER been in the rain and won't be, ever... It isn't my daily driver, but if there is even a slight chance of rain, it stays in the garage...

***7/16/2024 I just watched this video today. I want to bring this to your attention, and to all Camaro 6 Gen owners. Today when I was going to drive my Camaro after two days without using it, I noticed that there was water on the driver's mat. I honestly got extremely scared and worried. After checking underneath the dash and outside, I found the fault or problem. The Air vent open for the AC. Why was it open? Well, my car sleeps outside in my driveway all the time, here in Florida it's been raining like crazy lately. Well, I have come to the conclusion that constant rain splashes and enters through the Air vent if it is open. I have left the Air vent open due to the high temperatures in Florida, so that the car does not suffer so much from the hot sun inside. That's why I left the Air vent open. Since I left it closed it hasn't happened again. I have also realized that if you keep the Air vent closed all the time, even when you are not driving and the vehicle is turned off it remains closed. Just wanted to share this with you and all Camaros owners 6 Gen. Btw, I have a 2021 Camaro SS 1LE. Thank you, and be safe brother!!

$2800 for Corsa Extreme with NPP valves. Just get Speed Engineering headers + X pipe paired with stock NPP is best bang for buck. Even after buying a tune it’s cheaper and you actually get gains

They look very good. I got the same set for my Camaro 1SS. The problem is that the red faded after a few years in the NY sun, it might happen sooner in your area.

I had a ss 1LE now have a 24 ZL1 but I was sooo torn between the flowmaster or awe to the very end. I considered Borla/Corsa but honestly, just made no sense to me for how much they charge & yet their sound is no better than a cheap mprb exhaust or against a top name. I had flowmaster on my 1LE so ultimately I purchased another one for the ZL1. The Flowmaster Outlaws are aggressive af but with w/secondary cats still attached it balances out. the npp in touring mode switches the mufflers to the American thunders is much more tame. but the Flowmaster over all gives the car that deeeep throaty old school American muscle growl which helps balance out that xpipe high raspy pitch. So it’s all personal preference. Either way u can’t go wrong with awe or any others u put on a 6gen!

Being a teen in the 90’s, the Mustang was the car you bought when coming from the ricer scene, it was a gateway into V8’s and thankfully the horsepower was low enough that most didnt get themselves intp to much trouble. The Camaro had the 6 speed and the potential to be so much more. It wasnt until 2011 when Ford decided to introduce the Coyote, up until that point Ford knew it’s customers didn’t care about speed or performance, they just wanted the name, MUSTANG. Yes, Ford had its terminator, but that was a specialty vehicle.

I just got a ZL1 2024 got it for 81k best selfish purchase I’ve ever gotten myself. Well worth it. Especially if they are going to discontinue them or go electric, these motors are going to be worth a lot in the future.
