I was wondering, since the 2SS is being constrained, have you gotten a call from your dealership or nothing at all?
@diego basically nothing at all. Some people got calls, but the ordered just sitting there at 1100.

I was told up to 16 months wait for a Zl1 delivered, not 100% guaranteed. For a 1 or 2Ss much easier... just can't decide if I want to give up my Focus RS (yes it's that good!) for a 1/2SS since with just a 92 tune and some bolt ons my Focus RS is just as fast/good up to 60-70mph. A ZL1, absolutely a no brainer, that's a really special car.
I placed an order on 6/18 at my local dealership for a manual 2ss with mag ride and it got picked up by GM 3 days later(6/21). God is good. Hope you guys get your orders picked up soon too🙏🏽

Nice video update. I did buy a left over, new 2019 1LE Camaro in late 2019 for $35k. That was using a GM Card promotion that provided a bunch of extra cash, along with the allowable $1500 points from my rewards plus other manufacture rebates. Dealers couldn’t give those cars away before the start of the pandemic. Funny how lower production and greater demand for them now has put them at MSRP or more in some cases. They are still a great value compared to their competitors though.
Great video. I’m glad you mentioned the financials because it will make sense to pay the markup on a 22 as opposed to waiting on the 23 which is more expensive with higher interest.

I mean the 2022 1ss with 1le was still 46 grandish? the 2023 is 47 grand so it's 1grand more thats literally small change considering the inflation that's happened chevy could of easily increased the price of the ss by 3-4 grand based on it instead it's 1k more and there is no dealer who is only charging a 1k markup they all told me 3-10k mark up on ss 1le's yes one of them said 10k on a 2ss lol.
Raiti Rides inspired me in Dec.of 21 and said there here now if you want one. Mid. Dec I ordered an VOM 2 SS A-10. 05/23/22 @ 6000. Glad I listened and got one. This is it folks as far as we know this car to be.
I had a 1SS 1LE on order from 5/27. I just got lucky and found my exact build in transit to a dealer an hour away and pretty much did the deal yesterday. Now I just got to wait till around 7/31 for its ETA. Also saved myself money with getting a 22 vs 23 price increase

@@Hot-1LE nope. 100% MSRP and they gave me more for my tacoma than the other dealer I order from offered me by 2 grand. So win/win/win. Cheaper car, more for trade and get it much sooner

I ordered my 2022 LT1 M6 in mid-April. It got cancelled in mid-May. Dealer tells me, as of last week, that I'll be first in line with them when the order banks open up on the 2023. My only options are the NPP, upgraded infotainment, red calipers, bright silver 10 spoke wheels, and a rear spoiler.
I got my 2022 rapid blue 1SS 1LE coming in a few days and I found one exactly like mine rapid blue 1SS 1LE for sale at a Mazda dealership went to go take a look at it and the dealer was asking for 64,500. that's just insane, it only had 64 miles on the odometer but still I can buy a decently used zl1 for that price. These dealers are just crazy!!!

oh man. I got my 2SS 1LE for almost $15,000 less than that on March 30th. I had to wait 6 months for it, but it sure was worth it.

I order a Camaro 2ss 1le on 10/06/21 at Connell Chevrolet in Costa Mesa, Ca. Placed a $1k deposit and they told me it would be delivered in 3 months which I knew would not happen. After a month of waiting for them to get allocations for Camaro’s I looked at Chevrolet inventory online and found a 2ss 1le in transit 4 hrs away from me up north at Paso Robles Chevrolet. Called the dealership and they told me it was being sold at msrp and it was still available. Did all the paperwork and got pre approved on November 28 and the car came in December 30. Got lucky, The car came with no missing micro chips so I have all the heated and cooled seats, rear parking sensors and heated steering wheel.
Congrats man!! Connell tried telling me I had to put 5k down for the car to even place an order. I asked them why I would do that if they can't even prove an allocation. Congrats on your car man glad it worked out for you even at MSRP that's great
Who was your salesman at Connell Chevrolet or was it the internet manager? I only had to put $500 down on mine several months ago just waiting to get its ETA and the car will be at MSRP because I placed the order and had I just walked into the dealership to purchase the car it would be subject to markup pricing of appx $5,000 to $7grand.

@@Shakemoose I love it bro, I daily drive it and it drives really good best car I’ve ever owned lol , I financed through my credit union I got the lowest rate available through them which was 60 months at 2.29%. Not the best but it works for me
Hang in there. I waited years before I could afford my SS. Then COVID and the CA ban on copper brake models hit and I had to wait even longer. Some things are worth waiting for in the end.

We ordered our 2022 10/20/21. Is is the 1SS 1LE M6 wild cherry tint coat. It was delivered 5/11/22. There was no dealer mark up which was good. I kept track of the car through Camaro 6 and jack Cooper shipping. I was telling them more then they could tell me. They had to take it off GM’s site while it was in transit because of all the calls they were getting for it. They told me they are trying to order another one but can’t get a allocation. Glad I got mine when I did. Good luck to everyone waiting. It’s worth it.

I ordered a auto 2ss back on June 10th and just got word production starts on the 18th this month. Hope it gets to me shortly after!
Thanks for the update. I got 1.9% at GM Financial in May on my 2022 ZL1 1LE. Still can not any dealers in my area (San Fran Bay) to order a 2023 ZL1 1LE! The Chevy build site only shows three 2023 models, Corvette, Trailblazer and Traverse!

I put in my order on 6/7/2022 for a 2ss 1le and no updates as of yet. I was told production won’t take place until July for the 2023 models.
I can tell you for sure 23 production has already started. But for the 2ss 1le as you mentioned that's right end of July (at least for now). I hope it goes through clean man
Thanks for the updates! My 23’ 1ss 1LE is at 3400 status as of last week and still shows a TPW of 7/11. I did not get PDR hoping that would help it go quicker. I also got the white paint.

Thanks for the vid. I placed my 2023 Camero order in mid May. I knew there would be a ton of constraints so stayed away from the 2ss and went with the 1ss. Added the duel exhaust mode option and went with 20" 5 split spoke polished forged wheels black start center caps. Went with the black paint. Figured it was a popular color hoping it would get done quicker. Not only did the prices go up $1800 from the 2022 but I also paid 2k over msrp here in NY. 50k for a basic 1ss. My order has not been picked up yet. Still waiting
And did they tell you you’re gonna have to pay the new 2023 price mine said I was just going to pay the 2022 price Since i did it in May
They did tell me I was paying the '23 price which was the $1800 then 2k over that. So that basically stopped me from going with 2ss and went with the 1ss. Not a big deal I dont need any extra bling inside the car. But yes they were up front with me about the price. still waiting for dealer allocation:(

@@elijahmay3210 i speced out a 2ss at a small local dealership the day the 2023 orders became available, i was just informed yesterday i got an allocation, but i have to come back down to the shop to spec the car out again, its a september allocation, so i would suspect i will have to go sometime early september. they say a lot of options are on constraint and they will tell me when i get there what i can order right now
Chevy has 1.9% for 60 months. Just got my 2ss two weeks ago. Ordered car Oct. 2021 and just received two weeks ago. No dealer markups either.

MSRP, so I saved on any makeups or the MSRP bump from MY23.
Just recently bought my 2SS 1LE I order a 1SS but bought the 2SS 1LE the original person backed out so I bought it and love it no regrets

My order went in mid-May for a 2SS 1LE 6M. It's been accepted by GM but no TPW has been assigned yet. Stuck at that 2000's code yet for 3-4 weeks now.
My 22 has been on order since January. Built 6/1, and I have no ETA on delivery. Really frustrating. 😔
Pretty sure we're in the same boat. My dealer was telling me they have cars that say no arrival date but just show up one day lol.

I have a 2021 Challenger Scatpack WB 6M that I ordered and I looked into getting a 2SS 1LE and I was told that I could get it without a markup; the markups are on the ZL1 and Vettes; however, they're not taking any orders because they don't know when the production will start, it's completely crazy to me.
ya you can place orders at MSRP but they have no idea when they can get them, if they can get them. One in transit or on the lot is going to be a bit harder if not impossible at MSRP right now. I hate it. your challenger is going to be awesome. low key really want one

GM Financial is offering 1.9%
I think that's going to change in July. so if you can get the pre approval now if your car comes in soon that may be best route
@@Hot-1LE I asked about that but was told pre approval doesn't lock in interest rates from both GM financial and a credit union. You can do the paper work for the car and start making payments before you have it though but, I learned you are then revoking your right to decline delivery. Obviously if something happened in transit they would still fix it and warranty would cover anything mechanical or electrical, but then that whole situation could lose you value in your car. Not to mention have the potential to turn into a nightmare scenario.
Your partner is working hard. This stuff is exhausting.

I placedd a order for an lt1 on may 19th no update soo far on the eta but my dealerships manager told me they would work on trying to receive asap, but not an update yet
I placed an order in January of this year for a decked out 2SS Convertible. It was changed over to a 23 in May but still virtually no progress. I am confused how other orders are being fulfilled and some (like mine) are stuck in mud. The dealer say they have allocations. I am sure I will love it when it arrives but this buying process sucks.
I did my order back 1 May for LT1 sharkskin. Is been constraint forever. I just want my car in a light metallic color. GM won't do satin metallic and the sharkskin metallic is on hold too. My 2012 black camaro was too much maintenance keeping this color looking good in Texas weather.

Really enjoying this channel. I can't decide between an SS 1LE or a ZL1! Need to get my order in soon if I want any hope of a 2023/24. I currently have a Focus RS and honestly with a tune it will be just moving sideways if I get an SS, the ZL1 however would be something very special. I absolutely love my RS, they're very good little cars! Practical, quick and handle amazing in all weather conditions.
Well the focus RS is a really nice car but I'd consider a SS 1le a upgrade. Depending how you use the car of course. The 1le is 6 seconds faster on the streets of willow. Maybe in a straight line comparable but if that's the case why even get a 1le. Either way whatever fits you is what matters. You can't go wrong. Maybe keep the RS as well I really wanted one for a long long time.

@@Hot-1LE the SS 1LE is absolutely an amazing car and in certain aspects would most definitely be an upgrade. I've watched every one of your videos (shut up and drive my favs 😎) and that 1SS 1LE you had sounded amazing, those pops on deceleration and V8 sound are awesome. I'd also have to get a 2nd car for a daily beater as I'd never drive the Camaro in winter where I live.
Man I always appreciate your support bro. Really does mean a lot to me. I love the experiences these cars offer from the RS to the 1le to challengers and mustangs. It's like deciding what you want to eat for dinner haha. When I get this car I'm going to start pumping out the shut up and smash of each key canyon roads I find. I had a really good Palomar mountain switchbacks run. The GoPro decided to eat the footage. I'm still bent about that 😅😅. Thanks for your kind words.

I got my 22camaro SS 1le on April 2nd. Car is well worth the wait and money. Fuel economy is not that great but luckily I don’t care for that.
We either buy very fuel efficient cars and be bored or we get what we want and pay for it. Worth the cost. Enjoy that beast

I know it's not officially on the constraint list but would the LT1 Coupe and Convertible be constrained or would those orders be accepted relatively quickly?
Usually the lt1 are no problem at least so far. Less chips less tech. How soon the order will get accepted also depends on your dealership/GM and if they can get the allocations. May want to place multiple orders if you have it.
My order for my 1ss 1le was placed May 5 and accepted by GM same day, couple weeks ago status changed to 3000 status, which is order accepted by production control, should I expect it anytime soon or no.

They are building 23s. Zl1 1le is so constrained your probably looking at a year to get that car if I had to guess.

My 2022 ZL one showed up last week 10 months after ordering. It had the wrong transmission and was missing the PDR.

Ordered a 2022 2SS 1LE 6MT on Nov 26 2021 and in Jan I was given a build date by my dealership of Feb, then Mar. Production actually happened in Apr and now (10 weeks later) I'm still stuck at 3800 status and no delivery date in sight. I was also already given 2 false delivery dates by my salesman. Now they are saying my 1LE is stuck in Lansing just waiting for a hood wrap. Worst car buying experience ever
It's pretty rough. Your dealer dosnt know when it will arrive unfortunately they can only guesstimate. Just a bad time all around to buy a car it's amazing how quickly the car market changed. Soon man soon!!
Have a manual 21' ZL1.. can't find a new 1LE now :( I should probably be happy it has the PDR seatbelts back up cam and heated seats. I want a red 1LE though. lol
Good luck man. They only make around 5 percent of the Camaros in red. Then even less so for 1le and red. I'm hopefully getting the only red one I've found in California the passed 6-8 months lol. Keep searchin

Ya it says that in there presumably because all the other SS get paint matched mirrors. But your 1le will def have the black ones which should be specified in the 1le package. Your all good man. Appreciate your positivity man!

Ya I feel that man. V6 are crazy difficult to get I think GM is prioritizing that engine into the SUVs instead of the Camaros. Kinda a shame because that engine is so much fun to ring out. In fact that's why I'm here, I owe it all to an auto v6.

Well the 6 was a rental when my Mazda got hit. I always been into performance cars at the time I wasn't driving one. But was a big mustang guy until I drove that car. Loved it. But personally for me it had to be a v8 manual. It showed me what the Camaro could do and no looking back since then. That car ripped

My 2023 LT1 still hasn't been accepted by GM/Chevrolet yet. My workshop says SRE - Sold; and i know for a fact now that my dealership is getting/ has at least one allocation. I've been trying to see what all these codes and order statuses mean but I'm pretty sure that means i'm guaranteed my build, no?
Well nothing is guaranteed in life 😅 but you won't be held back by current constraints. For the most part lt1 have been the easiest V8 model to get of the Camaros. Your dealers waiting to get an allocation from GM. A lot of factors can play into that like how many cars they sold, regional allocations etc.
How do you check what your status code is?

My Camaro 2SS 1LE was ordered back on 4/15, and wasn't actually built until approx. 6/16, however neither GM, nor my dealer, has any information beyond that. My salesman was finally able to get me a VIN number this past Friday, but beyond that there's no ETA and no other information. From what I gather, it is at 4300 status, which (I think) means it's ready for shipping, but beyond that I can't say. Have no idea when it will actually get to the dealership, and I keep hoping I'll still have some time left for the driving season when it arrives and I don't have to put it immediately up for the winter, which is scary to think could be a real possibility.
By the way, do you remember where you got that 1LE banner that's hanging on your wall? I'd love to get one of those for my garage.

No constraints currently on lt1. Anything can change at anytime but right now there is none.

I’ve been thinking about ordering my own camaro lately and one dealer told me that there accepting 3% order per year or something like that. I’m thinking about a 2022/2023 camaro ss 1le in red, grey, or blue
Do it while you can. you'll likely be able to change your mind for months lol

Orders are taking a long time to get. 6+ months. You can always cancel it anytime you don't want it.
I want to order a 2ss but I don't know if GM is going to take things off the car. Do you know anything about what they are doing, as far as options also. Lmk ✌
Go ahead and order it man. So far the only thing missing is the rear backup sensors that are later added. Everything else is on the cars. Only a small batch of 22s didint have the heated/ventilated seats. Anything can change it's the wild west but so far all good.

My 2023 camaro LT1 is suppose to start being built the week of July 4th. How long do you think it would take for me to get my camaro. I have been waiting since march now. Well lt1 aren't on constraints your biggest hold up is going to be shipping which is anyone's guess. Depending how far from lansing michicagin you are it could be a few weeks to 2 months just for shipping
I live in Michigan. Lansing is about 1hr and a half. But is there a possibility I could get it end of July.

Depends on your order status. If your at 3000 your fine it will be produced. In the 2000's it's a roll of the dice.

Ordered a 2022 Black ZL1 on 3/18/22. Car was built the week of 4/11/22. Was getting ready to be on a transport the week of 5/9/22 BUT was stolen and wrecked on 5/2/22. New order for a Black 2023 was placed 5/13/2022. Target production week for my 2023 was 6/20/22...currently in 3400 status. I'm told it SHOULD be done by the end of next week....THEN the never ending WAITING game starts for delivery...😖😡😔

@@Chasethe1le Yeah, it was...it was the Black one in the ditch...had broken tie rod on the right front, air bags deployed and the left side looked like a can opener went down the side of it....my dealership called the Police Department and Impound Lot and both confirmed via my VIN that it was mine..they also sent some additional pictures to my dealership...it was sad...I first saw the article and was like...surely that's not mine...had my dealership check in the morning and about 130pm that day(May 2nd) I had one text that said.."Call me when you can"...I knew INSTANTLY it was mine...so I called them and they told me the news...now just waiting for my replacement 2023 ZL1..its supposedly in production right now...not sure if they'll "prioritize" delivery once it's built, but I can only HOPE at this point..😔😔😔😭
My red hot 22 1le was built on Wednesday but it doesn't have all the chips in it and is just still just sitting 😐 😑 🙃
