    Loved this video. I am also someone who was interested in computers in high school and decided to make a career out of it. Got an associates at a community college for computer systems engineering technology, got a basic help desk job and got laid off after only a year for no reason. Got an A+ after that and I had 3 pretty bad Tech Support and Tech Specialist jobs after that, and managed to break out into Systems Administration just last year. It was a grind but like you said when you get past the bs its very rewarding. Its funny that you became a network engineer and are shifting to cysec, one of my friends from college did the opposite, went into cysec, got his CASP+ then got bored and became a network architect lol. I just picked up a 2022 1SS 1LE 6 speed, amazing car.

    Hot 1LE with the gems. This was great for those needing guidance. It’s even great for a seasoned senior like myself. Before I got into engineering I started off in a computer lab at my school. Graduated in 2008🚮. I had to take a help desk job for hospitals and colleges. I hated it (loved the people though). I did learn a valuable skill on how to communicate. I would avoid talking at all costs back then. This role got me out of my shell and is a much needed life skill. I did that for a couple years and finally got into engineering. I job hopped to get the pay I deserved

    happy for you man. I too am a Sr (hardware) Engineer. never knew in my 20s when everyone else was succeeding around me that I'd be where I'm at in my 30s. Keeping your eyes open for good mentors/teachers, not wasting opportunities and growing out of stupidity (also almost lost my license Lol) got me way further than I ever expected.
    In the corporate world, the only advice that has worked for me is playing their game. Understand what's important to your manager/lead and keep them happy (if it's too soul sucking to do this, find another manager/company) - butting heads has only led to lies to my skip level and a PIP that took WAY too long for me to dig myself out of. Corp politics can be a nasty business if on the wrong side of things.

Started out as a IT support technician, got my A+ cert a little after and stuck with being a technician for several years. I actually am doing IT at a behavioral health center, I wish I would have gotten at least my compTIA A+ when it was free before getting my associates in computer support, then I go and get my bachelors in technology management and I'm just like all I did was rack up debt, that point is put into perspective after watching this video and after getting those degrees. Right now I only have about 9 months of IT experience and I'm not even getting paid what those degrees are saying I should be getting paid according to the median average without experience. I feel like an idiot now and im 38, I should have done what you did initially, but if I think about it I kinda did but backwards lmao!

    • @Hot-1LE
      @Hot-1LE  11 месяцев назад +1

      Haha yeah man thats actually why i did it the way I did. IT is a very experience driven field so the more experience you have the better your pay the certs/degrees just get you in the door at different levels. Thats ok man keep getting experience and add a cert or two depending where you want to go and youll already have the degree. It will pay off! Your doing great bro. You can always look for a new job and increase your salary. "Job hoping" is common in It for that reason just dont do it too excessively. Appreciate you watching bro!

I got in the door at the Hospital in my area as just a patient registration. after a year a IT job in pathology opened up and I got it. 22 years later I am still in that department but I have done so many things. Helping to develop and implant digital pathology systems over the years. To this day I am still part of new technology coming out in that field to help implement it and help to push the tech forward for better patient care. I also had that happen my father passed away right before I got into this position and never got to see what I turned into. @harisqureshi7469 haha thanks man! I been playing since i was 12. Played small shows and shows with thousands of people. Its really about building muscle memory. Pick a simple riff or chord progression or technique and do it over and over and over. Do it with your eyes closed, upside down, drinking cold water or whatever etc. do it until you just cant mess it up. Then do another. If you mess up start entire thing over again. Your hands will build the memory and youll have it for life. Lots of good youtube training videos these days too but a guitar teacher in person can really push you faster! Good luck with it bro

    Do you miss your SS 1LE at all? And what do you think of using the zl1 1LE as a street car? Thanks

    • @Hot-1LE
      @Hot-1LE  11 месяцев назад +2

      I think ill always miss my ss 1le to some level. I had some memories with the first one Ill never get to do with this one and that made it so much more special. From a performance stand point im all about the ZL1. ZlE id say go ride in one. The zl1 itself feels a step bumpier and firmer than the ss 1le in every drive mode. You feel more bumps in the road for sure. There is some canyons i go into sport cause track is just too much for the quality of the road. That was a reason why I didn't go ZLE. Then add on the fact they are near impossible to get new with a manual.
