- Bone stock on factory Goodyear F1 run flats after hitting 5100 miles on the clock. Car is in track mode with traction control off and stability control on (not that I need it). I feel launch control is over aggressive even when slipping the clutch, so I didn't use it. I shift a hair under 6500 so as not to activate the extremely long power cut and launched about 2000-2500.
For anyone curious about the Subi, all I could tell was that it was a 15-16 Sti with an access tuner. I don't know them well enough to determine if exhaust or intake system was modified.
Couldn't ask for better October weather at clear 73 F. Track is Gateway MSP.

I pull 6.7's in my SS all the time, then in my mind I think about how much it would cost me in upgrades, and add another 6 seconds as a handicap for myself.
All the magazines say the best times (same as Quick), are achieved through not using launch control.
12.8@112... That speed you can pull low 12s easy. Good to see some track runs on RUclips. Most people just do videos of driving like a$$holes in traffic or videos with burnouts and revving. Car belongs on the track....not doing 0-100 in 30mph neighborhoods.

And the Quickest -(times) & Fastest -(mph) are with the automatics.
Do a burnout in 2nd gear to get some heat in the tires, those F1's like a little heat. Drop em down to 27 psi, raise the fronts up to 50. Stage as shallow in the lights as possible, Leave in comp mode but don't dump the clutch, should take ya 1-2 sec to release the clutch and tires should "screetch" but not break loose. Its a lot harder to get good 60's in a stick shift, but with a little seat time you'll get it down. You'll be a half second or more faster than any cold air intake coyote mustang too.

I think you were on point w/ everything except the coyote comment, from what I hear & see, the Coyote is catching up to the SS FAST by the time they hit the quarter mile range
5 years later the mustang is proving better in every way. Still would take the Camaro tho.

My 2017 Camaro SS 6m is a lot quicker than my Stang GT was from any speed and handles way better.
If I were going the supercharger route however, I would kept the Mustang.
