I have a 22 Camaro SS 1LE for track days and weekend fun but the MYP is my daily driver. I don’t consider the Tesla a sports car but man is it a great daily. No oil changes and plugging it in and waking up to a full tank is pretty great.
Did you change the driving mode on settings? There are normal mode and the other one, I forgot the exact name of it, but it makes the difference on acceleration.
Model Y is not a "performance car", but the Model Y "performance" trim is more fun to drive than any compact SUV under $100k! You want performance, then go Plaid.
Zl1 ole boy! Lol question for you if I may.. I currently have a 2022 Camaro SS one LE and I was thinking of putting a Borla ATAK axle back on it… Thoughts? The question is can I disconnect the PPV valves on the existing stock exhaust on the rear can and install a axle back without those valves open close thingies on the rear exhaust? Can I just tuck them up under the car and leave the exhaust fully open in my settings? Will that give me any issue do you know with any sensors or lights popping up on my dash? Thanks for any info! Nice review btw 👍
What's up man! You can get the no valve borla and just tuck your valves up there. Most people just leave them plugged in and ziptie them. Others disconnect them and just secure the connection either way works. I had one disconnected didint realize it, it never gave off a code. Appreciate your support man and good luck with that 1le!
@@Hot-1LE thanks brother! Probably going to order the axle back without that NPP option and just leave the modulator connected and tuck it up under so I don’t get a code! Thanks for the feedback bro! Good to see you back ✌️
Thanks bro! Search around I found my axle back at a really good price on eBay/Amazon sold directly by borla. Good luck hommie thanks for the open arms!
Look in to a rear muffler delete. I did this on a 2014 SS and it sounds amazing. Really inexpensive too. Check out videos on RUclips you won’t be disappointed.
7:30 … Boom that’s exactly right… Mercedes did a study and they said that throughout the average persons lifetime they actually only need to buy three brand new vehicles
Tire noise was a deal breaker for me. While it`s easy to get excited of performance (0-60), tire noise will be there every day and especially makes travelling long distances very exhausting experience
I also noticed the noise and harder ride on the performance model y and was a turnoff, it was for that reason (plus couldn’t get 7-seat configuration) that we got the long range with the smaller wheels. I have taken it on a couple road trips, about 800mile each way and was happy with the outcome. It in fact took me just as long as other times we drove our gas suv. Now, that was because family wants to stop every couple hours regardless lol.
I dropped a huge hint on my next car in this video. Anyone catch it? Torque drop out is proved in Dyno results with the link in the description.
ZL1 🤤
That interior looks like it is from a 20 grand kia, it looks cheap and not luxurious for the price you are paying for this car.
@@crazyjack000 huh?
What a crap video… orientated? Dude stick to your camaro’s

The interior does not have a premium feel that you would expect for the price it looks cheap, bland and basic.

Yes

No. Def not the most fun. An Alfa Romeo Stelvio or a Porsche Macan are more fun, and there’s a lot more…
1. Mercedes GLC63s Coupe
2. Lamborghini Urus
3. Model Y Performance
4. Bentley Bentayga Speed
@KCJbomberFTW LOL did you just compare a Lamborghini Urus with Tesla Model Y Perfm , seriously

It’s a revolutionary car

Man I'm so stoked you watch my videos. I say that as I'm going on my like 13th car but you know us car guys haha
@@Hot-1LE yeah bud… good content it’s fair and informative!
You should check out a model 3 performance next and see how they compare afterwards
Are you sure you're in Sport mode??
Yessss
Sounds like a UFO in reverse.
The Model 3 performance is way faster than the Model Y performance. Please give the Model 3 performance a try
Would definitely like to. I'll have to find one
It's not "way faster", it's like 0.3 sec to 60 and after that they're neck in neck.. Take the Plaid, thats a difference.
Model Y Performance will actually kick a iLe into weeds only with far less less drama. I'll take the the beautiful Tesla all day.
You mean a 1 le 😅😂
nice review. now its time to drive a tesla model s plaid. would like to see your opinion.
Thanks man! If I can get my hands on one I def will 😁

you guys ever hear of this cool tech called.... music?

@q1738 plenty of scenarios you don't want music playing. Phone calls, kids sleeping in the car etc. So the road noise remains. Is what it is it's ok
Yup, the tech isn't groundbreaking. lol
Where do you get a tesla
sounds like ghosts
I stole it from some guy at a gas station 😅
@@Hot-1LE haha a Tesla was at a gas station to get coffee or something 😄
It’s sounds more like an old UFO 🛸 movie
Different Folks - Different Strokes! 😁
Haha exactly!
I think someone has it in chill mode lol
Been asked many times here and it wasn't and the battery was fully charged.
Quietest video on your channel
😂😂😂😂🤣
Do a 0-60 against your SS
0-120
@@Hot-1LE ecen better
You need to drive a plaid bro!
I totally agree man! 😁
Won't matter, because it doesn't 'sound' fast
S plaid is fastest
U wanna melt ya brain just take the plaid for a ride
Would love to! Haha
