A lil intro to the car up close for you all. You all think PPF is worth it on this?

Highly recommend PPFing the Front Bumper, Side Mirrors, Side Rockers (infront/behind tires). After that, it's all preference & wallet size.
That was super satisfying. You got every nook and cranny. I had a few rock chips on both of my Camaros. The paint is so cheap so I highly recommend PPF. I have no experience with ceramic coating. Great video!

couple tips to speed things up in the future if you do all this again. Get yourself a perforated decon towel from either The Rag company, DIY Detail or optimum. They are so much faster, will last 40-50 cars and if you drop it just rinse off and its not garbage like regular clay. Plus they will not mar or scratch the paint like regular clay can. Next get some polish that is trim safe. Like Optimum hyper spray polish or DIY gold standard. no tape needed and can be used to polish your trim so you can save time on that.

Thank you so much! I got a thing for red on these cars no other color does it for me haha you can really use any detail spray and microfiber. Let it soak it a bit and lightly remove it. I use a waterless wash/detail spray from Ultima as my go to.

Almost. Im over 500 so can do some pulls. But got a little to go before i can track and canyon it. So trying to get them on quickly
Red is not my favorite color, but that car looks fantastic when it is that clean. Great job on the polishing. I'll tell you what man, I have started using Turtle Wax / Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating after a polish and I love it. Works good on paint or PPF. It's as easy as a spray wax to put on, but lasts 10x as long at least, and the car glows the next day. Dust and bugs don't seem to stick anymore. I'm sure it's not as good as a professional product, but at $14 a bottle, it is super cheap and one bottle does about 6 cars. Love your Camaro; cheers!
Thank you man! Ya that turrtle wax ceramic spray is actually pretty darn good haha i been using that for a while. There is a very easy to use ceramic spray that will last over a year. "Gyeon Can Coat" that i use here. Its worth the money but i still use the turtle wax product on lots of stuff. Appreciate the positive words man!

Red hot really pops on the zl1 just one question are zl1’s suppose to have hood liners or not because I know that some 23’s where produced without them due to “shortages” but are suppose to be retro fitted

Hey man, I have a 21 1ss 1le. Having clutch chatter issues like you did. Mostly moving it around and pressing the pedal in at lower speeds. Also have some clunking under the car which other guys have been saying sway bar links.. car is still under warranty, any advice for taking it to dealer/ or if I should just go to a trusted independent shop. Want to buy the car lease is up in December but not sure how to go about this. Thanks, and congrats on the upgrade!
Hey bro. End links might just need the bolt tightened. That was a thing for a short minute on like the 18/19s but can happen anytime. Might be an easy fix. For the clutch id honestly say just drive it till you need a new one and just up the rpm on your take offs to avoid feeling it. I know it sucks but the dealerships in my experience wont do a thing and may even make it worse. Especially now the car is technically 2/3 years old. A new clutch setup with everything is close to 4k installed. Itll be worth it when its done. So maybe while you save up just enjoy the beast.
@@Hot-1LE thanks brother, I plan to keep the car N/A for its whole life so I don’t think I’ll ever need a clutch to handle more power. So I’ll probably do just that, but I honestly don’t think I’ll ever put enough miles on it to replace lol. Dealerships now are filled with a bunch of kids that don’t really seem to care about the job anymore so id rather them not start taking things apart and potentially making it worse like you said. I work at a detail shop and there’s a mechanic around the corner my family has been using for over 30 years, gonna have him drive it on Monday and see if it’s even worth bringing into dealer. @@Hot-1LE Stek is the best film on the market. Expel has too much orange peel “tends to yellow”. Just look into it, you won’t regret it. Everyone in Dallas does expel “great marketing”. I believe their margins are much better with expel. Stek is the most expensive film on the market but when you do your research… it’s well worth the extra few bucks.
whats different about the 23Z and a 16 ZL1? besides taillights
Besides the tails they fixed the oil pump thing. And infotainment center change that all the other cars got.

Well I will never tell anyone to get an automatic. Like ever. Haha. So if thats the option then no. 1le to ZL1 manual yes. Cammed 1le mmmm idk. I can tell you though I am in complete love with this car and its exceeded every single expectation I had.
