I'm here in Minneapolis. I met someone who knows you at a car show, have been watching your videos. I own Luxury Microfiber - we have the highest quality microfibers money can buy.
I'm personally just using a spray bottle & microfiber towels on my C8Z06 (ceramic/Revivify coated). I'm only at 1700 miles in SoCal, so haven't had the need for more (yet). However taking a long trip to Laguna Seca/Monterey this week to watch some Indy racing, so we'll see if I need to step up the process after a 15 hour drive. C8 looks fire.
I used to do the 2-bucket method. Then I saw someone doing this "towel method" - and I started doing this a year ago, and am never going back. It's better and faster IMO. Though I didn't use 8 sides per towel... I just folded it in half - and used 4 sides per towel. I found it'd sometimes come unfolded while washing - so I'd call that whole side "spent" if that happened - and get a fresh one. Honestly, I have so many micro fiber towels in rotation anyways - so if it takes 6-8 towels per wash, who cares, they're cheap...
What kind of material towels did you use and the size of the towels? Where did you get the rolling wash bucket? I received my c8 Z06 in Oct 2023 and it has been in the garage for the winter and never washed, I like and will try your method.
Question. Since these cars aren’t driven much and don’t have lots of brake dust, why do you use wheel cleaner and not just soap and water? I wash my wheels weekly with soap and water only and nothing sticks. I’d assume regular use of wheel cleaners will remove any ceramic coating and slowly over time damage the finish?
Good question! Some cleaners are more harsh than others. The one I use, is very safe on coatings, carbon brakes, etc. soapy water would do just fine I’m sure but the cleaner helps with the tires as well. I’ve found that Some brakes produce more dust than others as well. Thanks for watching!

Oh nice he gave me one of your towels to try actually! Do you have something that may work for this washing technique?
Catching up on a backlog of videos here. That was me. Great towels!

Beautiful C8. I would appreciate a trx wash video. Good work
That will be coming soon! We’ve been using it to haul quite a bit and she’s in desperate need for a wash. Thanks for watching and Stay tuned!
Must be nice to have a garage to wash a car in! Little different process when working outdoors, especially in the sun.

I’ve never seen that method, looks like it’s definitely better for the car but more time consuming.. man that M8 is so so sick! Makin me want one.

Why pressure wash before low presssure grime removal and foam cannon?! Seems like a good way to grind dirt into the paint
