Talon Ptera 3-60 Low Flat Competitive Testing | Beyblade X
Another great video. I love your guys stuff. I’m always very excited when a new video drops. Keep it up
nice, it feels to me like unite data is scarce for some reason. would love to see more unite testing. since it's basically a half mm lower taper, perhaps it would work better on upper attack specialists like shark edge? tyranno beat feels more like a destabilizer that works on higher heights.
80 height is viable now?
Try CDG 760 elevate against ball, orb and hexa
Try with against orb and hexa. Ty
Test with orb also
Tall height finally have some proper usage with a bey like SilverWolf. Now I want to see SW on 3-85 once that customize set releases in November.
@@MrRed-le4ek while waiting, you can try SW 9-80 on disc ball
@@ethguy9227 I’m simply an observer of the Beyblade X competitive scene so I don’t own any X bey. I’m trying to gain as much knowledge of the meta as possible and buy the beys/parts that I think will be most useful to me underutilized beys/parts or not.
@@MrRed-le4ek I found that combo from a Japan youtuber. Still waiting for my Silver wolf to arrive but it seems to be working well. With 80 height ratchet plus tall disc ball bit, it makes attackers hit the plastic disc ONLY. All you have to do is to practice a good launch to prevent being bursted.
when it comes out can we get leon crest 7-70bs?
Leon crest scrapes a lot with its default ratchet. 70 would make it scrape even more. But you can resolve that with Elevate bit.
@@ethguy9227 it only scrapes if you can't launch for shit + 70 would make it scrape less what + elevate is doodoo
@@littenflame85 you clearly don't know what you are talking about bum. Leon crest scrapes because 7-60 is to thick**. I've done a lot of test for all ratchet and bits with it. It's not about the launch, it scrapes when being destabilized and gets a hard time to equalize. that's why I told you elevate can resolve that.
Alrighty two things: A) Elevate has quickly become one of the best bits in X B) While Crest on 7 does scrape endgame, Crest isn't beating anything even remotely stamina based anyway. The scrape risk is mostly irrelevant, even on Hexa. 7-70 should be very potent for Crest.
@@FabeldBeyblades nah my fault i meant its doodoo for CREST
It’s okay, I believe you about the Rod matchup, I swear my 3-80FB Wolf can beat Rod the same way too. ;_; …Okay, maybe not my tournament-tuned Rod, but it at least clears my training dummy Rod!
I believe the reason Cobalt Dragoon is so heavily favoured in the MU is because the free spinning disk in equalising with Dragoog seperate of the rest of the produces destabilising turbulence that brings Wolf to an upsetting stop. It's body is trying to spin in opposing directions, physics says "wait, that's illegal"
In our experience Rush Buster and Tyranno Taper totally dominated Silver Wolf, both using 1-60. Wolf as a blade entirely depends on angle of engagement which is very fine in detail and depends on both players which skews all sorts of intent you may have with it. Left spin beys in attack formations also crushed it with almost 100% win rates, I think they thrive off of hitting the freespining ring, idk for sure yet though. I can say for sure that it's good, due to being simply true to stamina in playstyle and has all of its faults being weak to knockouts and down smash from taller builds. What I enjoy most is that Silver Wolf is one of our first beyblades that truly functions best on taller builds. I love the variety of contacts Wolf has, like HellsChain, where you can really influence the result counterlaunching people. I think that's a massive part of Wolf though, using the ability to chuck it to slam the opponent down or gracefully glide away makes it as versatile as it is. What's hard is that you have to choose your stance, and you might not get what you choose. Incredible design of a bey though. Wolf can parry better than Shinobi, attack better than Tiger, and spin better than most stamina types. Incredible looks moving forward with our new Samurai and Knight sets going to define our season 2 meta. Wizard Rod customs are gonna start going a bit taller and heavier if they wanna keep up. Thank you for the video as always; you guys are great.
How do u parry in beyblade
why not 9-60?
Just curious, how worn do your beys get from the testing sessions? Do you have spares for tournaments and stuff?
We've been using the same rod since we got it. Bits tend to wear out though. We've gone through a few rush and a couple point among others
Don't know what happened to the CobaltDragoon results on the final results. The final score was 2-17-1 with a point score of 3-21. I would have loved to seen a more offensive PW and a TyranoBeat (something like PW 5-60 R and TB 3-60 P) because while I think this round of testing shows that SW is a serious stamina contender, it also shows a potential vulnerability to attack type beys. Great video!
Editing at 2am is what happened to the CDg results my bad. Don't worry, there will be more SilverWolf testing in the future
What makes WizardRod so powerful isn't the shape, or the weight, but the combination of those with the wieght distribution of it. Its weight is so concentrated outward that it makes it a stamina god
That 😂😂 SHIT 😂😂
Using a 5-80 helps keep FB's posture
Yea but 5-80 bursts easily. At least more easily than 9.
Would 7-60 be your favoured ratchet for Dragoon E, if so why?
9-60 because it's a horribly easy build to burst already and the only factor you need to consider is reducing your burst risk
7-60 because of balance mostly. 9-60 is unnecessary because Elevate is more prone to Bit Bursts than Ratchet Bursts, so the tucked in-ness of 9 isnt super useful
@@FabeldBeyblades Agreed, I asked about this a while back but after testing I found whatever ratchet had the tighest grip on the bit gave me the best chances. My last tournament deck ran it on 5-60E since that was the best out of what I had - I got second and my dragoon didn't get burst a single time iirc. My winning deck though had 5-60P instead
Personally use this combo, and 7-60 Hexa when attack is giving me a hard time.
Silverwolf 9-80 FB already proven it's ability on our local tournament last Sunday, Champ was running it.
Nice video! I wonder if 70 height would be enough to let attackers hit the plastic disk. Since 80 seems to make it more prone to bursts.
but if you run 70, cobalt will able to hit your blade. you don't want to get spin steal. as much as possible you want to get hit your plastic blade not the main.
To be fair, 9-80 is pretty much the best ratchet at height for burst resist. If you want a low height combo instead try it on 3-60 unite. Staller/Destabilize combo.
@@ghasmage8819 still waiting for my SW to try it out. I think if 9-80 is the best ratchet then make it more taller using disc ball bit. With this combo, the attacker can ONLY hit the plastic disc. I saw this combo in Japan so its worth trying.
Rofl
Alr Silver Wolf was an absolute W release with good parts + even better gimmicks
VT(and by extension ptera since my ptera is heavier) have rapidly become a favorite of mine, obviously VT F is good but loses to PW, but in general I’ve found LF to weirdly struggle with stopping power in a way F and R don’t, heavier ratchets help basically every build. It’s unconventional but I actually don’t hate 2-60 on Ptera, it allows the bey to hit hard and matches don’t last long enough for its weird burst problems to be an issue
I’d say a really good combo to test against for the future is Unicorn 5-60P it’s unreasonably good, been testing it against some meta attackers and it’s really good.
0:49 “yeah it gets slapped really hard like Æ”
I barely a quarter of the way through this video and I'm seeing hope in my world again
Great battle from both beys and bladers. Really showcases what beyblade X has to offer.
can you pull a string launcher as hard as you want? i feel like it’s going to break every time i use it
You can, though there is some technique to it. If you pull hard and you max out the string to the point where it slams to a stop, you're going to break the launcher. You have to stop just before it slams by either letting go or knowing where to stop. It takes some practice but once you're used to it, you can get the same amount of power from a string launcher as you can a winder launcher.
Talon Ptera IMO is a counter attack blade. Please use it with any balance X-60 and Taper. With taper is amazing. Compite agains top tier combos like Dranbuster, Phoenixwing and Hellsscythe. I want to see other people opinion.
With Elevate showing up, Glide got quickly written off. However I've been testing Hell's Scythe 9-60 Glide and man is it a weird stamina choice compared to it on ball but with the proper launch technique and skill, it can deliver interesting results through bullying Wizard Rod combos with Glide's stamina pressure while outlasting hard hitters through Scythe's defense and stamina.
Love the videos, super fun to watch! Also, I really like the color combos you guys make for most of what you use, they're super pretty.
Thanks! I really enjoy how colorful X is. There's a link to the spreadsheet I keep in the description that shows all available colors and what set to get them from!
@@FabeldBeyblades Ooh that's awesome! tyty
I feel like Elevate by design is good on Weiss Tiger becasue it was intended for Whale Wave which is also top heavy
I like the less serious matches using Elevate just because there's more conventional wins and losses. It's nice to see it play by its movement patterns instead of the matches being forced to end in burst or outspin with no in-between. I really do love how it moves, it can't justify being the most fragile and most frequent self-burster ever for the sake of having LAD scams though. I'm a gambling man. I'm all for gimmicks, even coldhearted win strategies, but really all I see is risking -2 points for a small chance to steal +1, at that point, the only advantage is that you can't xtreme finish it because any hit that hard will burst it first. Honestly though don't pay mind to my ramblings; remember, everyone should play what they want how they want as long as everyone involved has fun. That being said, this was fun. Thanks as always for the upload.
Elevate elevating every blade it is put on lol
Every day you upload is my favorite day of the week
Weiss Tiger fans rejoice! (I'm not one but I'm happy for them :) )
Enjoying the new testing, keep up the crazy/new combs on older blades (I say older as a ohmage to Bakuten era) Keep it up!!! Eagerly waiting on tournament info and more TT release's to Aussie. Keep up with the good work!! ALSO SIDE NOTE - 9:11 Dragoon 2 - Weiss 3 on 1/4 speed can def see Dragoon just outspun lol (sry mega OCD made me do it) ;)
How NOT to get girls
Whats a good setup for Dragoon? Ive been trying to figure out a good set up but cant seem to find a consistent one.
Try it on Point, Cyclone or Rush for barrage attack builds. 1-60,5-60 and 7-60 seem to work well with the blade for any of these builds. But if you want sudo spin steal, maybe 5-70/80 Elevate.
1-60 or 7-60 are the preferred ratchets for CDg Elevate. You still want to rip CDg E at near max power, it is *not* a traditional spin stealer/equalizer. You cannot light launch CDg and expect it to outspin anything.
Can u try tyranno beat 760 disk ball. Ty
WizardRod just chilling per usual
I unironically looked for this video Tuesday because I was testing 9-80E on Crest. It's actually a little nutty
The problem with leon crest is that its has too much plastic contact allowing it be farmed down easier
The plastic contacts is what makes LeonCrest so good at defense. Metal on plastic contact produces much less recoil than metal on metal. The reason Crest has so little is due to its reverse contacts, not because of the plastic.
How defense types should be:
wonder if the upcoming 7-70 would change it up
Something we may take a look at in Spinning Room Floor once 7-70 is out
7-70 would be better than 7-60
@@littenflame85how? Tournaments I go to always have 60 heights everywhere. Unless you mean that 7-70 would scrape less then ok yea.
While being short is generally the way to go, LeonCrest specifically benefits from being at 70 height because of its plastic underside. Plastic on metal contact has much less recoil than metal on metal, and Crest is here to be a defense type.
@@ghasmage8819 yes, that
