I just came 3rd in a local tournament of mine and here were my combos: WR 9-60 B: Wins: 2 Loses: 0 PW 5-60 U: Wins: 3 Loses: 0 DB 1-60 LF: Wins 0 Loses: 1 Honestly the PW combo carried hard in the tournament, U IS UNDERRATED!
I've been using Shark 4-60U and I really enjoy it. So far I think U is really nice but your own upper and smash attacks can destabilize yourself too. The high friction does wonders for heavy and hard hitting beys though. This mini test format is still very thorough, I love it. Thanks for sharing 🎉
Tyranno Unite is definitely more of an anti-attack build. The movement of Unite isn’t aggressive enough for consistent attacks against the likes of Rod it seems. Although against attack types, the blade recoil plus the weight make opposing attack blades lose more stamina upon contact. Unite gives you more stamina than your average attack bit and it has dodging movement capabilities. TB on U can reliably bully and outspin attack types with proper skill use.
I second this. Also Unite feels more like ball but if it was good/has high burst res. although it plays more like a less aggro taper. Wonder is it can work on other combos. A thing to consider with U is it's height as well. It is lower than the average bit so it could work on upper atk builds.
I've gotten some interesting results with 9-60 U on HellsHammer. Destabilizing beys on the first hit and bursting them on the second hit. Maybe HH is making a comeback?

A thing to consider with U is it's height as well. It is lower than the average bit so it could work on upper atk builds.
Some beys on Unite are also insanely good for Bursting such as Dran Buster. It can get under even the lowest beys but it's not easy at all.
