who would have thought the counter to dragoon E is rod E 💀

To be fair, Elevate has LAD but it can go on any defense type that needs a bit more stamina but also more movement.
Wizard is basically that but the best of the best for that. Dragoon with E was only a combo because people wanted spin steal b4 a real spin stealer was released.
Dragoon was really more for barrage attacks but that's just how it is with Beyblade.

Dragoon Elevate is probably the easiest-to-burst heavyweight combo in the "meta". You can burst it so easily that you can have a near 100% rate bursting it with a heavyweight attack type. Don't even need to hit the bit. Impact alone should be 100% burst rate unless you miss attacks...

Rod on 5-70 Hexa already kinda does that this just has a better LAD and a higher burst risk

This vid just shows that wizard rod is the most versatile blade in X as of right now. It can do anything so it's the meta blade of X.
    Kinda like Sol Badguy tbh.

I've been thinking of getting the 3 player stadium and I noticed mall of toys has it for 58 bucks before tax and shipping. As long as shipping isn't to bad maybe that could be your way to get it for a ok price

Last night I had my first-ever Beyblade related dream and foresaw the future meta. Can you test Whale Wave with the Quake bit? I think Whale Wave's down smashes are going to be made more powerful with the jumping of Quake.

Looks like in the manga they use an old reference for elevate where it is more like a flat bit and it had burst resistance

Any chance you'd test Shark Edge 1-60 Hexa? It's a combo that I can usually launch at full power because of Hexa and still have very good attack power because of Shark. The launch angle would be dependent on the matchup, with you trying to stall out at the stadium edge more and more (to let them drop to the center) as your opponents' beys get more aggressive. In my testing with a friend, it won 13/20 games against Wizard Rod with a point score of 27-9 (though I am admittedly more familiar with using it).

the phoenix wing performs worse than 1-60R I can tell you that much. I understand the interest in other ratchets, especially for deckbuilding, but save 7-60 for something that is lacking weight. If you're heavy already, build into your strengths.

My disdain for Elevate builds is still strong. I still respect the people who use them of course. It's what we call "winmore" in other games; disrespectful overkill. Since its release, I deal with a lot of really dissatisfying LAD outspins, more than Disc Ball customs ever did. I appreciate the unique movement and ideas put into innovating with it, design wise and player skill wise, but none of its features hold a candle to the fact that it adds almost an entire second of spin after what should be the legal cutoff for what constitutes as spinning. The Elevate player cannot fully launch or angle itself because it signs an invisible contract launch it the same every time, otherwise, it is the easiest bit to burst so far. I can handle Wizard Rod mirrors and long Metal Fight grindfests, I can handle a meme build too. I just frown when I see an honest match end the worst possible way. I never thought I'd say this but I found everyone fishing for equalization """wins""" more fair 😂 I actually do like the combat performance and unique movement E offers, I just believe that bit isn't winning anything others can't competitively speaking, its' sole purpose is LAD crutch. Sad because the gliding leap attack and Flat-Sharp movement patterns are so cool... the otherwise unique style is locked behind a low burst resistance LAD machine that makes anything besides spinwin or burstloss objectively suboptimal plays. I appreciate that there is no scumbag play and everything is wholesome + constructive here. It's becoming hard to find genuine gameplay that follows the WBO rules and you guys are very entertaining as well. Always happy to see an upload.

Low burst resistance, gimmick failure and prone to self burst/ko
