I feel like this mirrors my own solo testing with stamina bits (particularly 7-60DB for the full burger build). Crest's weight distribution and 7-60's inherent imbalance don't do favors for its stamina, and the lightness/low friction of those bits means Crest gets tossed around a lot more easily than it should. In short, they don't draw out Crest 7-60's strengths and instead try to make a very specialized blade fit into a mold that it's not really built for. But like you point out at the end, it's the sort of thing that can turn into a monster once we get more proper defense bits, so it's definitely a good start. 7-60 is an excellent and versatile ratchet though, the weight and imbalance make it great for attackers and other defenders alike. That's part of the reason why I'm not surprised to see Chain 7-60P beat out Crest here, Chain getting to balance itself with 7-60 is a huge buff to its stamina. I personally like PWing 7-60U, it really hits like a truck.
I like LeonCrest on O the most for me, since it is lower to the ground then ball and has less surface area then B (which makes it harder to KO). H does not work on LeonCrest, as it wastes too much stamina by flying around, (which Crest already does) but it can do some wacky things. P can also do some very cool stuff against attacker by bobbing and weaving around the stadium while having enough stamina to out class the attackers. Great video, again! Edit: I also like D on it because of how stationary it is, and that it goes on some weird angles, deflecting beys that hit it.
It's safe to say Leon Crest is a start to true X Defense playstyle. The knockout potential is really the saving grace that makes the defense worth taking the attacks for. They seem to be playing it really safe as to not make pure defense beys heavyweight or wide in diameter (...yet). Point was very strange, it can't save itself from impact with it, but the skillful ceiling of that bit with the precision launches really showed to make up for that. The Disc Ball idea sounds great for this, even considering the burst risk, just because you have a ton of influence on where you glide to dodge with DB. The "try this" build from the Takara Tomy paper that comes with it said 1-60GF and it was actually kinda scary to go up against 😂 Thanks again for another awesome video.
I've had a lot of success with Leon Crest 7-60 on Point, Rush, and DiscBall. Disc ball is my favorite as it tends to outspin defense mirrors with LAD and its a kind of a meme that actually is pretty functional. Rush is decent as it's the only bit that I've had success against Wizard Rod with, and it can still tank most attacks from others too. Unfortunately anything on Hexa can still dust Leon Crest, and Crest hasn't been good on Hexa for me either.
Man, I wish defense was better overall. I've been running hell scythe on 5-60 orb for stamina, and I've been curious how it would fare on defense with a dot bit. Having high knockback while minimizing its own recoil seems like a fun concept.
So the problem is point is not that great for crest, that's why they gave him a Hi-needle but high needle is having a hard time to stabilise Crest, might want to change it something ball, orb, or just go flat if you intend to make the Wall Titan strats
@@namuwonderlingYT Extra stability from DB while 9-60 keeps it from bursting as much. Arrow is smaller than rod making dodges a little easier while I have the A4 batch arrow with worn down contacts improving defense and stamina a bit. I also find reverse x-dashing easier on DB I made the combo to get around limited rule but I've kept running it after my local org lifted the rule
@@namuwonderlingYT It does get knocked around by heavy attackers sometimes and outspun by the big stamina combos tbh, but I find it easy to use, just good enough and the LAD is insane
Disc ball testing when also as much as I wanna love this bey....it loses alot to some combos mainly when I use phoenix wing 5-60 point and it's on db or dot it does to stamina loss or pockets
So it’s the defense equivalent of Buster. It WILL wall you out but if you have even the slightest essence of stamina, you’ll probably outspin Crest.
I really, REALLY, want to see if Leon Crest will be good with Orb. Orb might give it the spin time it needs.
@@bryanmerelit isnt.

Wait, really? I would’ve thought O was same height as B, just smaller diameter. If it is in fact lower I guess we can nickname O as LB
The very definition of a 7/10 bey
The parts of Leon Crest are really cool the Ratchet, and the blade too.

@@The_G_in_Jesus There's a short on my channel of me testing 7-60DB. It went so badly but I still love DB on wizard arrow

Are you taking combo suggestions? Wizard Arrow 9-60DB is one of my favourite rogue picks
An interesting Stamina combo. What aspects of this combo do you find most appealing in its performance?

Do you do any tests on hasbro Stadium?
Any chance you guys wana test Crest on 9-60 O
Holy crap 20-0 against buster? Did I hear that right?
Yup. Completely shut out Buster we could not get it to KO or even Outspin Crest at all
From what set can i get the point tip of that color ?
Rare Bey Get Gold LeonClaw
Not too broken but not trash either it’s good exactly what a defense type should be
Let's fucking go
What about GF instead?
its so pretty I shall call him burger boy
