I've won an official tournament with Leon 560 HN. HN helps you tilt launch without it destabilizing. Tilt launching LeonClaw is really good for bursting opponents
It's incredible to see how you value and don't give up on Leonclaw even though many people say he's not that good for competitiveness. Even so, I also started to grow fond of Bey and I feel an immense I want to have it on my deck
3on3 first to 7 is so much better than the official TT first to 4 3on3. Feels very limiting, and random due to the factor of ordering potentially being the match decider with such low points

Leon did pretty good, looks like you got a sleeper bey in your deck, it's like the Honda Civic of Beyblade X, get the good parts on it and watch it surprise every meta slaves.
Happens to me often in yugioh. I jump over plan A and screw myself.
Second guessing is a bad habit for me. Gotta stick to it next time.

I came 2nd at my local tournament by using LC 9-60 HT, HT is good for LC since the destabilisation HT has on it can swoop down, releasing the claws. It is also consistently better than HN, I see people saying in the comments that HN is the best bit to use on LC when it is really not that great at all. HN makes it so then LC shows it's claws making it good for counter attack supposedly, but through my testing for right now I found that it is really not that great as when it is swooping down and the claws are showing it doesn't use it for counter attack as you may think but instead it uses it to it's disadvantage having it so that it gets bullied by it's recoil instead of the recoil using it to help. Hope this helps with people wanting to use LC!

Leon’s rounded contact points compared to the more jagged/winged ones on Phoenix make it harder for PheonixWing to take it down with the right combo

played back 4:20 timestamp and it was def midair.. wonder how it wouldve faired with a redo!
I've been trying to dial back on using PWing, so my last tournament I went to (and won) I used ShinxCowl5-60R, KnightShield3-80GP, and UnicornSting9-60GN. And that won me 3on3 but when I switched to Deck I just asked 2 of the guys who tied for points but didn't make it in because of opponents win/loss records. So I kept the KS, but used WyvernGale9-60O and SharkEdge3-60GN. I like just exparimenting and KS3-80GP has become my new main bey after wining me every round I used it.

I started using leonclaw 5-70 HT and it seems very competitive, try it out!
I prefer low height for Leon personally!
Guess leonclaw was the go to for you after all, maybe next time instead of phoenix try unicorn and stick to hellscythe over hellschain

@nizumablader if you're gonna go full rogue then I have a suggestion.... dranzer s on either 4-60 or 5-60 (your choice) and the point bit... tried this with 4-60 with a friend and got some interestingly promising results

chearings, very good deck but yes the Unicorn combos now are stoping Phoenix wing.

I feel like besides launch errors, you should've had a pure attack bey like Phoenix Wing stock. Phoenix could definitely destroy Unicorn if it has a strong enough hit, which you had some in your final match, but i think Point weakened it, and the rest of your combos lack offense so stamina just gonna drown you out. I won a tournament with Shark stock, Pheonix Wing stock, and WizardArrow5-60HT (weird but good) and i kept knocking and bursting beys and Wizard can knock out and out spin. My final opponent used all stamina and they stopped me from winning my first tournament but this time i showed him attack types matter! 🤣🤣 My team was VERY aggro but i did it because i noticed people don't give defense types much credit so most teams were full of people trying to out spin each other and some attack mixed in, so a hard attack team was a good bet.
Gonna make a note to visit for tournaments at some point

I legit think playing what you know is better, like I’ve spent so much time with Leon I feel like I can make it work where some of this other stuff I’m not confident with or don’t understand as well doesn’t pan out as well.

the problem of leon claw is its weight. i rather use rhino than it
I personally think Leon is better than rhino but I’ve also spent a lot of time using it trying to make it work.

Is it true you are now using leonclaw on unite? With what ratchet? And how is it so far???
So far I’ve still been using LeonClaw on taper but unite is also a decent option. I haven’t decided if I like it better than taper for LeonClaw yet.

I’ve tried it, I like the little height drop but against so much higher stamina stuff it’s just inconsistent. If we ever get a low taper or something similar I think it will do well on that.

Because I like it lol. I’ve talked about it a decent bit, I just like the design and i think it’s fun to use. If I wanted it to be easy I wouldn’t use it. I like the challenge and it did pretty well. If anything I would keep that and change out Phoenix and hellscythe.

Lol aside from Leonclaw I’m using all extremely common top tier competitive combos.
Phoenix wing is over hyped
I only saw 4 out of the 6 the the three u used in your first match r only good because people use it alot and if it berry wins its considered good Phoenix wing gets countered by literally almost any defense type and loses to wizard arrow stock from my experience so atheist toss that one
@@user-br5gp1cy9z your welcome to post your tournament videos, there’s a lot of people who want to sit on the sidelines and critique without actually providing anything themselves. There’s a massive difference between sitting in your bedroom solo testing and actual tournament play.
@nizumablader there is no s tier high competitive beyblade there good decent and horrible most bey combos don't beat all also I like ur video u should buy the newer beys ux that will be cool but from my playing those beys aren't that good like good in my book is 80% win ratio and up I don't ever see that high win I use Phoenix wing 5 60 point I'm not sure but I did see u tilt ur launch for more aggressiveness I find doing that helps my shorter beys do better against taller beys I'll give a hint and different types of launches latter tho
