Watch Lubrication - What is Epilame ? - Simple Version
I thought it had "moved on" from 4R36's,yet I want one of these. My stock 777🐢 is on a SRPA21 PADI bracelet. Can only imagine an MM300 clasp on here.
What do you do if tips of the tweezers are bent to the oustside?
Great video, May I ask at the start of my journey, what grease is preferable for the O'rings on the back of the case and also for the pushers? I assume not all silicone is created equally and terrified of using the wrong one on My G-Shock mud master.....Thank you I have subscribed.
Hi, what about silicone grease for the oring ?? Can you use plumbers grease?
Stupid question, but how do you fit the tube back in?
Nice video, thanks. just one question what about that Quartz oil that we can see in the back, what is that recomended for?
This is the same watch Gene Hackman wears in "Heist" at the 59:07 mark.
Was there a part 3 or pictures of the final reassembled watch?
Lovely watch you’ve got in for a service their Mike. Unique and getting more and more rare.
Thx man. U deserve 1000 likes
Thought my carbon monoxide sensor was going off…..thanks for that, lol
How can we tell if the tube is friction fitted or screwed?
In our Country only 6 types of precision Screwdrivers set is mostly available that is 1.4 mm, 2 mm, 2.4 mm & 3 mm flat ones along with Philips head 0 and 1. So will they do the job ?
What ever happened with the silicone gasket grease for the hobbies who changes a battery now and again probably the most important
Bought a dark manta ..
Hi sir. Can u make a video how to faster / slower the accuracy of this movement. Mine’s slower 5 mnutes per day
Can I ask what bracelet model and 2 what polish do you use
Where can I find one of these in this condition? Been looking for a while now but I only see old, rusty machines online
So you have to leave the alarm crown pulled up to activate the alarm? And when it strikes you have to push back in the alarm crown?
Wow would love to own that I like that way better than a regular dive watch.
Good and informative video, sir. Thank you! 🕐⚙️🍸
Where’s part 3
Why not automatic like the original or at least a smooth sweep quartz?
Thank you so much!
Hi Mike.... Thanks for your help today... Frank...
I have just started watchmaking and am practicing with an st36. It looks pretty different it actually looks exactly like an OP XI
wtf u did all of that but never put it on the wrist
Sorry mate… couldn’t watch the whole video with those birds in the background
Would Moebius 9104 (HP1300) oil and Moebius 9504 grease be good for servicing a grandfather clock, or are they only for small items like wristwatches?
😍😍😍😍
Hallo kawan apakah sama type jam seiko 5 snzf21k1 dengan Seiko snzf17k1
Thanks for the video. I'm buying this tool and I found your video talking about it and it helped me a lot. Please record another video explaining more about the details of using this tool, as your experience will help us. I wish you success in your work and in your life. Your videos are very good!
this tool is shit don't buy it.
Thanks Mike, I hope to be that good and that fast someday. What size of screw drivers is the best to purchase for working on small watches? I recently purchased cheap non working from eBay and I have taught myself a lot.
What's the biggest tell as to whether a tube is friction fit or if it is screwed in?
If it has threading or a shape on the inside that looks like a tool is supposed to allow it to screw out. it's a screwed-in tube (see pictures of Rolex's triplock crown tube). If it's a perfect circle on the inside, it's friction fit
i have a very good pair of headphones and the bird tweet at 3:08 absolutely shit me up
How do you change the blades ?
I have an early 1970’s omega seamaster cosmic 2000 diver. Personally I think it’s the best looking of the model line up. I’m going to sell it though to fund driving lessons for my daughter. Any idea of the value please??
Saudações do Brasil.👍
Why aren’t you wearing your finger condoms during reassembly?
Come estrare il tiges e corona
i've learned alot with this video! pretty late to the game but anyway, thank you for your effort / showing us this! i was wondering, how would you secure the hour wheel if you're planning on doing a skeleton watch? because there is no dial that presses down the wheel with the dial spring i suppose ? anyone could help me out ? cheers !
The best screwdriver sharpening video by far. Those rollers other people sometimes use make no sense to me. People use them without getting the flats lined up properly with the stone and end up grinding them on an angle and then they have a tip that is no longer square. Doing this sharpening (actually more of a dressing than a sharpening, IMO) manually like you show makes much more sense and produces a much better tip.
Hi. Do you do paid repairs at all ?. Thanks, Geof
I need wrist watch oil
in holland we call it a spiraaltang lol
Do the job
Pretty much expensssss
I have one watch Omega price please
I have an ETA/Unitas 6498-2 with a straight crown in a new Tourby watch that is difficult to determine when it is fully wound. The straight crown is noticeable smaller in diameter than an onion or diamond crown. Being smaller I think it has less leverage on the mainspring therefore requiring more force/effort to wind. I'm concerned with damaging the movement whilst trying to fully wind it. Also while winding it clockwise it has has significant counter-clockwise backspin with release of the crown as it gets more wound. I've noticed this on my other hand-wind movements but not to this degree. Does this description sound normal for this movement ? Can you say approximately how many full 360 degree clockwise turns (or revolutions) to fully wind the movement? Thank you and what a fantastic series on the ETA 6498-1 service!
I like it best especially its crystal face
