Would love to one day have the skill to be able to do this - a job well done ! Thanks for sharing. Need to get a pile of old watches to practice on and a decent staking set. Any recommendations on staking sets for a hobbyist please ?
Have a look on Ebay for a used staking set, doesn't have to be perfect condition or even fully complete. As long as you have a basic set you can do more work than you'd think :)
When are you going to going to show us how to use a weishi number 1900 and set it up. Multifunction Timegrapher.
Bqllpark guess on what a watch maker would charge to replace a staff, including parts?
Hi. Do you do paid repairs at all ?. Thanks, Geof

@@welwynwatches5976 Thank you :)

Thanks, Im glad you found it helpful :)
Excellent video! I don't know how you were able to have the roller jewel out of the way and not damaged! Thank you for sharing.
If you are referring to when the hairspring was re fitted the roller sits in a hole just large enough to allow it to pass.
@@welwynwatches5976 I missed that part somehow and did not see it. Thank you!
There is a stake with a cut out for the jewel, he didn't show it or mention it. Otherwise... great video.
