That Omega is extremely clean for its age. I would wonder if it's been restored before.
The authentic Dirty Dozen watches I've handled have had faded and sometimes blurry dials, and many many scratches and dings. Most of them saw very hard use, and all are almost 80 years old.
I have one of these that will need to be on my bench. It is always great to have a video reference- thank you!
Brilliant Mike. Can’t wait to see the re-assembly video now.
Hi, I recently got into military watches and am very interested in this Omega one. From a watchmaker/repair point of view, is the movement reasonably accurate and is it a well-built watch?
The Omega is a well built watch, very simple design but functional. The only downside is the lack of shock protection for the balance, a friend of mine used to repair about three of these a day with broken staffs so....... But yes a nice collectible for sure.
@@welwynwatches5976 Thank you for the reply, I have another watch on my list which is the Zenith German D.H, caliber 12 4-6. Have you ever repaired it in the past? thanks
I have one watch Omega price please
