Naoto for real you unlock her and then like two days later your bombarded with the school festival then the music scene then the Nanako abduction and even then I don’t finish romancing her til the adachi case

I think the reason alot of people are dissapointed about infinite wealth is that the story not only needs alot of context from the whole series but also has you think very far outside of the story on your own as yakuza's story telling does not serve you every last detail on a silver platter. Thinking about the deeper aspects of a story is just something alot of people don't do.

I'm not going to get my hopes up but a spring or summer release would be better for the game as a whole

The mini games in yakuza are so good because they humanize the protagonist as not just people who are stone faced criminals but lets there purer hearts show out more as the lovable goofballs they can be

Its not only the way they reuse assets. Its also how they make every game to feel so different from the other and so unique. If you dont think so, look at ubisoft, all their games feels the same. With RGG doesnt feel that way, thats why I love this studio and their games

They have a dedicated engine: Dragon Engine. It lets them reuse assets to reduce costs and focus more on the important stuff like story and quality

U cant use a sports game to compare used recycle content vs a rpg. Ur not gonna have 2k all of a sudden be a baseball game lol. Yakuza games are extremly lazy with decent stories to mask the laziness. Combat is extremly boring in both real time and turn based. Same small map with reused buildings. Go play the new street fighter and play the onlime mode. Its the most janky thing in the world but it is a splitting image of the streets a yakuza games. A bunch of npcs pacing around with cars driving up and down the street. And playing tons of mini games is also a very lazy feature. Theres no sense of freedom in the game. Its sorta like the persona series. Thats why both yakuza and persona are niche games. Only longtime fans continue to play them. They are rarely talked about and never are considered for any game of the year awards because when people actually get honest about the game, its nothing more than a copy and paste. There is NO rpg in the world that comes out yearly. Theres a reason for that, and its not cuz they are good at what they do. They are stacking money from reused boring content that ur occasional casual gamer gets hooked on lol. Sorry for the harshness but im a diehard gamer. That plays almost every game and genre there is. I play every triple A game imaginable and i have something good to say about almost every game, but yakuza just aint cuttin it in any way. Stories are mediocre at best and thats the best thing its got going for it

The first judgement released for Xbox one and ps4 and the second game on the Xbox series and ps5, it’s not impossible that they’re waiting for the next generation of consoles, they seem to follow the 3-5 year pattern

Adolescence is the best period of life. I hope will still be set in high school it is what made persona series great imo but definitely what made me like it. Tbh i would like to be even more high school focused with real tests and grades. 😅

I want p6 to feature an mc that doesn’t move to a new place, maybe a character that’s extremely reserved that has been in the same town for all their life but still don’t have many friends. Through the story the mc opens up and meets more people. Also have it be sleep related like shared dream power shenanigans.

I can't care less when the story is long, however, 3.0 story feel overdone not because the story is way too long, but because we have to walk through 3 puzzles sessions in a freaking capital of warriors. The story feel even longer because they still haven't given more characters animations, we literally have like 5 standard animations for everyone. This is even worse when there are places where an animated cutscene would have worked way better than than literally static characters, ie Gnaeus speech, that whole thing need to be animated instead of partially, they wasted the best line, best performance in the patch, or in the game period, on a static cutscene. There is also issue with black screens and weird camera angles that they haven't fixed since 1.0. Had the puzzles been actually hard, had the cutscenes actually more lively, had there been more animated cutscenes,... It would have been great. Which doesn't mean I hate this patch story that much, I just have alot of criticism with the game story. So far the only stories I have been actually enjoying to their fullest in the game are the 4 major non playable characters quests in Penacony, Belobog, companion quests and the Arcadia quest, I dislike the Hades and Persephone one because it paint Hades as a douche, when in reality he is neutral or actually helpful. I dislike alot of Luofu, which is a given. My main gripe with Penacony is Firefly, she is easily the weakest and most detrimental part of the story, I like her backstory and personality, but I hate her story in Penacony.

Can't we just switch actor for yagami? I mean I prefer Yagami unchanged, but if that's the only way we're getting another Yagami game I'm okay with it.

And now Karaoke is easily one of the most loved mini games in the whole series, because they put a lot of effort into so much so that other studios should be jealous of the bangers they are able to put out
