Hello PAUL. KLASSE Video PROJEKT 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks...........Fim👮🏻🚂🤚🏻
Hi Fim, many thanks foe watching and commenting. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Great sharing
Hi Paul you certainly have some beautiful locomotives and rolling stock. What did I notice on your layout today,I like the look of your little fire station👍. Do you know what I can honestly say this,I haven’t purchased anything new for my layout since Hattons closed.I always ask for money at Birthday and Christmas time, and then I used to put what is for me a fairly big order in at Hattons, buildings cars lorries rolling stock, but since they closed nothing new 😭😭🤣🚂🚂take care Paul.
Hi Michael, The Fire station in my home town is located in a residential area, the one on my layout is very similar so fits in nicely. I also bought 90% of my layout including many Locos and rolling stock from Hattons around 12 years ago. As you know I mostly buy used Locos and rolling stock in OO and Ho scales and repair them as required to save money. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
@@paulvozman842 Hi Paul yes it was a great shame when Hattons went, unfortunately for me there is no Model shop anywhere near me.There used to be two I could use but unfortunately they closed down, probably because people used Hattons instead of the shop,my bad I guess 😭🚂 Yes i do tend to buy used stock now and I got given all that H/O items if you remember 🚂🚂👍
Hi Paul, super video. Thank you for sharing. Cheers Andre 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️😃😃👍👍
Hi Andre, glad you liked the video. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Good morning dear Paul, you have two beautiful locos,i love the image where the locos are close side by side.A big like have a great start in the week best greetings Alberto 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💞💞💞💞🍀🍀🍀🍀😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Alberto, I am happy the tunnel track is working, now I can run more of the larger Locos. I think you saw the 2 black Locos the 8F and 9Fs these do look good together. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
Well done ,Paul
Hi, A bt of hard work but finally have all my tracks working again and can run Locos like before. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hello Paul, nice train🛤🚂👍👌. Greetings Gert
Hi Gert, thanks for watching, glad you liked the Trains. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
Excellent Paul, well done on getting every line going again...and seeing 4 of our big 1960's steamers running round. All the best.
Hi Tim, After a lot of stretching, straining and swearing I finally have all my tracks avaiable again. I like the larger steamers and can now run them on my outer track more often. Have a great week, Cheers, Paul. 👍👍🙏
Hi Paul, fantastic video, very interesting. I enjoyed these smooth running Hornby locomotives very much, it's a real pleasure to see them stop and start. Congratulations on restoring the tunnel line. The part near the gas works seems very interesting, there's a few buildings I didn't see before, I think. By the way, I think you have one of the largest Metcalfe collections in the world 😊 I have just ordered a few Metcalfe additions for my new layout in the making. I adore these kits. Luckily we have a reseller in Holland and his prices and shipping to Belgium are very reasonable. Have a nice Sunday evening and a great week! Cheers 🙋♂️ Erik
Hi Erik, I went crazy and bought a number of New Hornby Locos around 10 years ago, I am glad I did as the prices now are sky high. I made a housing construction site near the gas works which is hard to see unless I focus in that direction. I really like Metcalfe buildings, they are very easy to assemble and look very realstic, I spent many hours making them. Thats good you can buy them from Holland at reasonable prices as they can be expensive now. I will film the area around the Gasworks in another video. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
@ Hi Paul, you are running a lot of trains simultaneously. I guess you ate using different controllers for different parts of the layout? How do your trains cross from one part to another, and drive from one controller to another?
@@railway187 Hi Erik, the track where the trains run through the tunnel behind the main station is powered by a Bachmann Speed controller,. My Branch lines and middle tracks are powered by a Gaugemaster 2 track controller. I cannot run 2 trains on the same track but by using insulated points I can seperate the tunnels from the bridge lines and using station loops can store locos untill I switch the points. Points simply redirect the current from one track to another as long as they are insulfrog types. I hope this helps. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
@ Thanks Paul! On my new layout I will have to think on how to isolate both loops. I will use two separate Piko controllers and I thought to isolate in between the two points. I will experiment before fixing my track 🙂
Hi Paul, They are 3 excellent looking steam locomotives mate. The 9F is worth a mint these days because it is a Franco Crosti. I still don't have one but will keep looking. I have a dozen or so of the Bullied Pacific and Merchant Navy class locos, they all run really well. Hornby did a good job with them in my opinion. Nice work getting the tunnel line operational, it always feels good when a plan comes together. Steven.
Hi Steven, I am glad I bought the Hornby 4-6-2 Locos they are great runners. The Hornby 8F and 9F Locos are superb no problems at all with them and luckily the dreaded Mazar rot hasnt taken hold. The Franco Crosti version is an interesting version of the 2-10-0s bought new almost 9 years ago at a reduced price. I made my layout with a few bad points mountings luckily I managed to reconnect the linkage on the tunnel section after a lot of straining and swearing. Had a few beers after to relax. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏

Hi, thanks for watching and the kind comment. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
i like 68020 and nice work on the Piko coaches! nice running Paul :)
Hi Mystic, I have 4 of the Hornby 0-6-0 Hunslets, they are very smooth, quiet runners. I am happy how the Piko Coaches turned out with the changes of liveries they suit my layout much better. Thanks for watching and the kind comments its most appreciated. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Amazing ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉❤❤❤💜💜🥰🥰👌👌
Hi, thanks so much for the kind comment. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Great video Little train runs very smooth Regards
Hi, I am happay to see you liked my video. These Hornby 0-6-0 Locos can run very smoothly and quietly, great for shunting or tight curves. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Great Video .
Hi, thanks for watching and the kind comment. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi🚂
thanks
I do like the different levels of your splenidd layout, and you collection of vehicles...Another big like!
Hi Phil, I really appreciate your very kind comments and support, glad you liked the video. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
a beautiful video and a beautiful layout dear Paul lovely the two Piko coaches in British style i love your collection of British cars, trucks and buses a great like my frend have a nice week alberto 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Alberto, Its amazing what some paint can do, the Piko Coaches look much better now. I do have a large collection of vehicles spread out around the layout. Thanks for spotting them not many people notice them. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul, very nice work on the coaches, they look really good with that 060. I definitely understand the rigors of rewiring in low cramped spaces. My new puppy decided she likes the taste of wire. She stripped a fair bit out for me, most of my points are not working now. It's gonna be delightful getting under there to fix them. I wish i had made it so the top could flip up although 25 years ago i didn't have a crook back. Steven.
Hi Steven, I am very pleased how the Coaches turned out, they seem to be running very well with the 0-6-0. I struggled with changing one of the points as I had to stretch too much which gave me back pain. I am happy my Branch line is running again the effort was worth it. I dont envy you rewiring the layout, puppies are great fun but they cause all sorts of problems. I hope you get your layout up and running, I like to see your amazing collection of trains in action. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
@paulvozman842 I've got the outside and inside lines going again. I've got a bit to show as well.
Hello, Paul! Great work on the conversion of the coaches! I love your visions! Congrats on the line opening again. The more lines, the merrier... for me, at least!
Hi Anthony, Its amazing what a bit of paint can do, the Coaches do look much better. I had a difficult time fitting the new points, a bit old for stretching and crawling under the layout but happy its done and I got my Branch line back.. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Good to see you've reopened the branch line, Paul and the coaches look great...cheers James 🙂👍
Hi James, It was hard to crawl under the layout and even harder changing the broken points but the effort was worth it. I am happy the Branch line is running again with its new Coaches. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Super video, Paul. Thank you for sharing. Cheers Andre 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️😁👍👍👍

Hi, I really am too old to be crawling around under the layout but glad I found the issue and got some points changed. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Nice video, Paul. The little train runs very smooth, as your trains usually do. Thanks for the video, have a peaceful evening and a good new week! / Chris
Hi Chris, thanks for watching and the kind comments I really appreciate it. I am so happy my Branch line works again. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
Very nice video excellent update and running 👍🏻
Hi Darren, Thanks so much for watching and for the kind comments its most appreciated. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul, It's great to see the branch line open, and you have done a nice job painting the wagons 👌👍🚂🚃🚃
Hi Windy, I am very happy the points are changed and all is working again. I like the coaches, another paint job on the other 2 red and whites is on the cards. Cheer,s Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul, I like your conversion of these Piko coaches. I have a few of these lying around unused. I could paint them in BR green, I have a few decals for them. The 0-6-0 is a delight to see, beautiful loco. I am happy your branch line is working again, it gives some beautiful angles on the town. Thanks for another great video! Have a nice Sunday evening. Cheers 🙋♂ Erik
Hi Erik, I have quite a few Green Piko Coaches and put the red and white ones at the back of the drawer as I didnt know what to do with them. I am glad I changed the livery on them I might change the others later. These Hornby 0-6-0 Locos are perfect for tight curves and run extremely well. I can now run my Cement trains again now the track is repaired. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏

That was a very nice bit of reversing along the branch Paul. Like most Heritage railways that has a branchline that only opens on certain times of the year. Very good Paul, all the best.
Hi Tim, Its so much easier to reverse these Ho Coaches around the tight curves. Looks like my heritage railway will work well in the tourist season. Thanks for your support and kind comments. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hello Paul. Klasse lakomotive 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Super Projekt 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks........FIM🚂👮🏻🤚🏻
Hi Fim, thanks for your kind comments. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul another nice video, always a joy to see your lovely interesting layout, what did I notice today? The window boxes on one of your station buildings,I love detail like that. The loco is a joy as are the couplings. If you ever need to know the age of any item,as they say ‘Google is your friend’.Take care Paul.👍🚂
Hi Michael, as Captain Mainwaring said "I was wondering when someone would spot that one". I tried to add as mch detail as I could to the Stations, "and theres more" as Jimmy Cricket would say. I was lucky to find the LMS Jinty its a perfect match for the Coaches. I dont know why Hornby and Lima made their couplings so big, thats why I tried to shorten them. I did Google to find the age of the Loco maybe I will enter the numbers on the box and try again. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
🚂Hello, I came to see you🎵
Thanks for coming
Hi Paul, you are really very good. The operation you did requires a lot of precision but you managed to cancel the horrible effect of the old Hornby hooks.Thank you for this tutorial and a more than deserved like. Alberto 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Alberto, I had to test the clearance of the buffers before I glued the couplings in their new location. I think the gaps are not too bad now, I dont know why Hornby made them like this. Thanks for your very nice comments. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul, congratulations on this beautiful Jinty, quite a find! I have been struggling with this type of coaches too, as you know I have made them sit lower, I have also added selfmade interiors and they got European couplers, but I couldn't get that gap any smaller. You have done a great job here, this looks much better now! Cheers 🙋♂️ Erik
Hi Erik, I was lucky to find this Jinty in LMS livery ate a very good price. I dont understand why Hornby made these huge couplers, I know they wanted to save oney but could have designed them much better. I wanted to shorten mine without spending any money, they look a lot better than before. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Very good Paul. The way you think of things, amazing. All the best.
Hi Tim, There are a few ways to reduce the gaps but I thought I would do it the cheapest way. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
Super video, Paul. Thumps up and keep it up. Cheers Andre. 😁🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️👍👍
Hi Andre, many thanks for the kind comments. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul. That's certainly made a difference to the look of the coaches when coupled, they look good...cheers James 🙂👍
Hi James, I dont know why Hornby made these coaches with these terrible couplers. I think they look a bit better now. Thanks for the kind comments. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hey Paul, that Jinty is super quiet mate and runs beautifully. I recently purchased some second hand but quite new Southern Coaches that had been fitted with NEM knuckle couplers. I was going to change them but haven't done so because they allow very close coupling without entangling the buffers. I am actually thinking about doing a mass conversion, it has impressed me that much. Steven
Hi Steven, I could have closed the gap between the coaches more but would have needed to remove the buffers and fit shorter ones. A lot of work just for a few mm. NEM knuckle couplers would be good to install I would like to see them when done. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hello Paul. Super video Projekt 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🛤️🚂🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks.........FIM👮🏻🚂🤚🏻
Hi Fim, many thanks for your kind comments. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Superb, a real pleasure to watch!
Hi Phil, thanks for your support and kind comments they are most appreciated. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul, awesome video. Coaches look great, coupled closer and the jinty is perfect for them 👍👍👍👍
Hi Windy, these modified couplings make a big difference to how the coaches look when running. The LMS Jinty is a great runner and looks good with the coaches. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Nice layout and video.
Hi, thanks for the very kind comments, I am glad you liked the video. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hello Paul. KLASSE LAKOMOTIVE 🛤️🚂🚌🚌🚌👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks.........Fim👮🏻🚂🤚🏻
Hi Fim, thanks for watching and the kind comments. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
I've always suspected Lima's HO British rolling stock to be 00 stuff with European couplings. The company was always operated in a cost-effective manner. They standardised on diesel and electric locomotives to avoid investing in expensive steam locomotive chassis. When they did make steam locomotives they generally went for tender drive, while loco drivers like the BR39 and the 141R shared the same chassis (designed for the 141R).
Hi Patrick, these Lima Great Western Coaches were a bit of a mystery to me as they are OO scale with European bogies. I have several Lima Ho Coaches that are correct in scale. I agree with you they were probably meant to be dual scale to save costs. The downside is running them on a Ho Layout they would look far to big behind some of the Ho Locos. I dont mind as they are a good addition to the 4 OO Great Western coaches I already had. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
@paulvozman842 could they maybe have been modified with European bogies by a previous owner, just as our friend Railway 187 does?
@@patricksmodels There were no signs of the bogies not being origional, sometimes the tangs break if not removed carefully. I simply fitted NEM pockets on 2 ends that solved the coupling to the D types. I knoe Erik cut down some OO Coach bodies to lower them which turned out quite well. Cheers, Paul.
