Hi Al, I really appreciate your comments and for watching my videos. I was lucky to have the parts to change the worn geared axles, I fitted a 5 pole motor which improved the running. Have a great week, hope your health has greatly improved. Cheers, Paul. 👍👍🙏

Hello, Paul! An interesting locomotive, I like the way it runs. The bogies are a little to clean for my taste, but it doesn't count, this is subjective. I like much the blue light in the driving post. Thanks for the video, I wish you a fine Sunday evening!
Hi Chris, I didnt change he colors of the bogies as they seemed to match the black livery quite well. My camera changes white lighting to blue inside my Locos for some reason, all the lamps are white LED so I dont know why they look blue. Have a great week. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
That's a lovely locomotive. Class 20s were designed to be driven in each direction and in early days were used either way. Later on they were used in pairs. The cabs have dual controls I believe. Cheers.
Hi, Thanks for clarifying the directions how these 20s were used. I imagine the view was restricted when driving with the Cab at the rear. I like this Loco as it was one of the early designs of Diesel Locos. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul, Congratulations on your great skill in doing these not easy jobs. I had a 1987 Lima class 20 with BRT livery without lighting and single-axis gimbal transmission. It worked well. I update you on my aircraft models: after mounting the bf 109 I mounted the Saetta Macchi MC 200. The next acoustics will be the FIAT G 55 Centauro, the CR 42 Falco and the Reggiane 2000. I would also like to build the Savoia Marchetti SM 79 on a scale of 1:48, the problem is that I don't know where to put it. Don't miss my videos, I hope you like them. A big like to good week. Alberto 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊
Hi Alberto, Luckily I had some Mehano parts that replaced the worn axle on the drive bogies, I fitted a new 5 pole motor and it runs quite well now. I am following your Aircraft videos its amazing just how many Italy made. I hope you can get to build more if you have room for them. Have a great week, Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Anthony, or Gid moaning. I was lucky the chassis was probably made by Mehano and renamed "Model Power" so I had some Mehano spares to be able to repair the drive axles. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi James, when I saw this 20 for sale I recognised the chassis as similar to Mehano . Luckily I had old spares that solved the noisy axles and I fitted a new 5 pole motor whih greatly improved the running. I am happy to have it in my collection as one of the first Diesels. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Michael, its lucky I have a box with old Mehano parts as 2 of the geared axles were distorted. I fitted a 5 pole motor which also helps with smoother running. Thanks for the great comments they are most appreciated. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
@@paulvozman842 Yes of course that is a bonus having all those spares. But you also have a great skill of fixing and making things work better.Cheers for now Paul.😊👍
Hi Paul, that's a very smooth runner and a very unusual model, I don't think a lot of models were produced of this locomotive. I can imagine that it was worth the project! Have a nice Sunday evening! Erik
Hi Erik, Lima produced these Class 20s and later Hornby when they took them over. They were single bogie drive and fairly common. The one I bought is the Pete Waterman Liveried version had a chassis from Model Power (Mehano) which is double bogie drive and was adapted by the previous owner. I am happy how it runs now due to me having spares that fitted. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
Hi Paul, I know the RS1, 2 and 3 ran nose forward, not sure with the Class 20. Model Power were a manufacturer who aimed at the budget to mid price range. I only have a couple of examples, they run okay with the 3 pole can motors. They shut down about 18 months ago. I have the Class 20 in Lima and HD, they are very good performers. Yours is a very nice performer, smooth and quiet. I really enjoy being able to resurrect stalled projects. I often think about creating a Frankenstein loco, using the parts I have on hand. I envisage it will end up looking a bit like a Beyer Peasock. Steven.
Hi Steven, When I saw the Class 20 for sale it said it had an American chassis, I recognised it as similar to Mehano that I have in one of my F7s. I had never heard of Model Power but I know Mehano made Locos for many US retailers. I have a box with Mehano parts from scrappers and found 2 geared axles exactly the same as in the Model Power bogies. I fitted a 5 pole motor, lighting, NEM couplings and added some detailing. Its a good addition to my collection as it was one of the UKs first Diesels. I would like to see you create a Frankenstein loco its always interesting to see what can be made from parts. Cheers,Paul.👍👍🙏
