A nice quiet start to the new year Sean and farming as it’s meant to be. The winter mornings look so calm and peaceful. The cows look well, I’m looking forward to calving but equally we’ll enjoy a bit of tranquility before we get to that point. Animals always demand some hard work and commitment but you’re living the life! 🇮🇪🇸🇬

A leg in each corner! That made me chuckle for ages. I love how you use the language... You've a natural way with words that always makes me smile. So good for my mental health... And i love how you see the good purpose of the rushes. So many farmers go to war with them at great cost and so pointless. I used to cut them by hand with a sickle very often. I'd a use for them. Thick mulch mounding up on the spuds & other veggies, put them down in the chicken run for the deep litter, and layer into the muck heap for compost... They're a fine resource & they want to grow. I miss them. I miss Ireland, especially when the weather is horribly hot around Christmas. It's unreal still, though I've been here ten years! Greetings from Australia.

That robin singing was wonderful. A real treat. Your videos are only vaguely similar... There's always something lovely even if it is only the weather changing. And since seeing that leveret... it's nature & man at their finest & i for one can't get enough of it. Your cows are so blessed to have you. Your land is blessed to have you. Enjoy 2025!
