Thank you mo chara. Her sire is Prince Richard. He's definitely putting height into his foals. Her sister moonshine is the strongest filly I've ever bred I'd say. 🙌
Beltie More is getting some impressive boat shoes! With regards which field they are in, I’d say it’s so much which field but the amount of growth on the fields and how quickly it’s coming back compared to last year that will determine how much feed they need. They don’t look like they need anything for a while yet.
Plenty of grass there sean ,no panic with hand feeding it could b a long winter yet, from now on we can get any sort of weather, the ponies following the cattle seems to b working well with a pick left behind. 👍
Hi sorry for late reply. Thank you . West Scotland 🙌 a beautiful part of the world and a massive influence in the cattle I keep .infact there as west Scotland as youself🙌
Another beautiful video Seán. All looking good except for the red shorthorn as you said a bit on the thin side. She may be carrying twins???. A bit of tlc will help her along. The galloway calves are very cosy looking. I think they are the way for you to go. Ponies won't be water babies😂. Thanks for lovely update
Things are looking good! The fence jumping heifer would have one of my three O’s for going to freezer camp, not something unless she stops doing it I would put up with.
My very thoughts this morning tbh. However it's what I've done forever and they still come back. So I'm going to really try and be patient and see how we get on over this winter and 2025 should have a story to tell🤔
@@seanofalluinregenerativefa4569 i know your 100% correct , Sean . I think a quick fix is always more tempting than actually knowing a bit of science and having patience. The rushes will eventually lose out
Long toes on the hooves of that Galtee standing at the shook gate. Plenty grass left. Do you reckon the grieth is stringer this back that has allowed you to not feed? Or have you kess mouths to feed? Keep er lit
Well bird I think it's the smaller framed animal plus year on year we are definitely getting more fertility I'm the soil and microbiology extending the growing season. As for the toes haha yes them mountainy breeds tend to be like that alright
Haha thanks colman. Here's the issue the bullock jumps and the heifer kneels and crawls. The only issue with the double wire is double work and it earths off the grass . I think it's down to the power of the fencer. Hard to beat the mains

Well lad yes I might actually do an update on it soon. I'm heading for the 10,000 kms soon . The short answer is I'm extremely happy with it. Has not let me down once. Everything still working very well.
She's a beautiful filly foal, a Sheáinín.

Beautiful upload and share my friend ! .. gorgeous filming edition captured camera work ! .. super awesome great job ! .. TQSM ! ..
Every day you are grazing versus feeding is a win when you have more grass ahead of you.
Thank you Lee. The weather has been a great help. After 2023 I feel alot more confident 🙌

Hi Marie I'm going to make a new little micro herd . She'll be a member.
I'll keep a close eye on her over the winter 🙌

Super cattle waiting at the gate for new fresh grass
Thank you Seanie .when things go right they go great I find. I've a few little shits that need manners. Out from that😄
When the ponies graze the grass down so well , it would be very tempting to mulch the hell out of the rushes 🤦🏻♂️ .

All lookin well sean, bar that gate.did you ever consider 2 rows of wire.

@@seanofalluinregenerativefa4569 agreed, the mains would sort it.
wonder if you took them off to the small herd could you calm them down a bit or would they be worse
I think that may have to happen. A couple of weeks with the mains fencer. I'd actually love that🙌

Hi sean, i was wondering how your cf moto was doing, after a few years use, i was thinking about buying one for the farm, are they reliable?
