I think that was the problem then which is why I believe it would be even more amplified today, even though you can justify the meaning behind the lyrics most people wouldn't understand or wouldn't want to understand. @davidcbeaudoin Even though I know some people like their new music, I completely agree with you, and for me, that's the case with a lot of bands, three days grace, being another example. Sometimes a new singer can come in and fit in just fine or even bring his own style and sometimes like you said it's just a bad karaoke performance. @RockTalkWithMike that was the first video of yours that we caught, but we love the band and enjoyed your video, so we subscribed. We'll watch more. We just saw them again this month! August 3rd, we caught them in Nashville and we're seeing Blacq Audio in September!! I've seen them 11 times so far, and we'll continue to go to literally every tour they do. We absolutely love AFI and always have! You nailed it, they never disappoint!!

@@RockTalkWithMike I think it was '96, pretty sure it was their tour to promote Very Proud of Ya. Nah man, no band. I just love shows and it was a combination of the awesomeness of Davie and that he had a bad cold and was losing his voice because of it. Me and my best bro were in front, knew most of the words, so he just pointed the mic. Not much of a story, but a great memory forever.

@TommyRyan1 I appreciate the comment and those are the comments i love because I really can only speak from my point of view. Definitely a band that made a huge impact on me at the point In my life when extreme behavior came out but, personal taste, I fell off. I've listened to rock music more than any other music and I ventured off into so many different styles and have never frowned upon any genre. If I didn't really like it I didn't listen to it as much as maybe others, but for me there was no walls or barriers, It's all badass to me. Mainstream or underground doesn't matter.
