Iam currently married to a Dominican woman and my experience over the past 8 years is pretty much accurate with your video... Except point 4 and 5... My wife is very messy we have to hire maids every few months and she likes to dress relaxed she gets pretty for her friends but relaxed with me... Even all of the woman in her family keep clean households and dress to impress and im flabbergasted when visiting her relatives. We have two children together and we are in good careers in life but how can i help her be more tighty around the house and dressing like the queen she is. Granted i have seen those qualities in her only when we had problems that sort of sepeeated us at times in the past when she dressed hot and cleaned up but when we are back together i get the total opposite. Please help im begging you lol

I met a lot of chapiadora's from DR and even Columbia. Wouldnt recommend marrying them either, as your title suggests. I would however have fun with them, eating and drinking in a controlled environment where i wouldn't be a victim

I only go to places where I am welcomed. If tourist say they don't want me there, I stay away. I dealt with a rude hotel and probably racist employee in Scotland, and I never went back. The world is big. I understand their grievances. They have spoken. Go where you are appreciated. Americans romanticize Europe so much. Latinamerica is just as beautiful. Most countries love tourists revenue. Protest Barcelona. They don't want you there.

But Spain is a lovely country

The thing is that airbnb has not respect for renters and hotel owners. I never stay in airbnbs when I go to Spain or Dominican Republic. I respect locals and renting airbns has a very negative effect not for apartments owners, but for renters ( middle and low middle class ). Airbnb must be regulated or even banned. They are not just affecting renters, but hotel owners and hotel workers as well.

It is their rights for Spaniards to ban tourists into their country. Is Santiago (i.e. Los Alamos) a good starting place for a first time visitor to the DR compared to Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo (Piantini)? Is Santiago less prone to hurricanes? How's the climate compared to Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo??

Why do some expats in the beach cities have a negative view of Santiago at least for foreigners? Are there neighborhoods in Santiago close to amenities and conveniences for people without cars, especially older retired expats?

How would Naco compare with Piantini as a retirement expat neighborhood? Especially for people relying on Uber and nearby neighborhood stores and restaurants?
