A little more to the left on the end of your video there is Torre Catalina Bay and Captain Kidd Yacht Club. There used to be a quite fancy restaurant. My preferred beach ⛱️ is Playa Caobita in Azua. And that's the beach mí y mí flaquita caramela got married on. Almost ZERO tourist and that's a plus for me.
I guess beaches like these would be ideal for people planning to move to the Dominican Republic, to get an ideal beach experience for local Dominicans. Nice video sis.
Yes It’s supposed to be public at least it is in theory but not always in actual practice. We got to remember, it’s the DR and someone always figures out a loophole, away around the rule. But the problem with the “public beaches” is the type of people who venture there, too many Riff-rafts. These people trash it and the government does a poor job keeping it clean. Look at Boca Chica, I use to go there as a kid, it use to be paradise today you wouldn’t catch me dead there. My recommendation unless you love to hang around those types then avoid it lije the plague.

I grew up in La Romana and move to caleta many year ago , hurricane 🌀 George mess up that beach and other hurricane 🌀
