In Puerto Rico we call that fruit quenepa
@@TheZachery82 in other islands it’s called kenep. Same fruit, but those were a bit small. Did you need permission to bring the drone or does Carnival just allow them??
@@nadiathomas4342 you have to check drones in with carnival when boarding the ship

Thanks for sharing. Hubs and I were in La Romania this past October. We didn’t venture off because we were cruising for the first time since the pandemic at that time. Not a big fan of crowded beaches but for free and the daily short ride we may consider. Thanks for the review.

How long were you in port? We are only in La Romana from 11:30-6. Wasn’t sure if spending 30 minutes each way to a beach was worth it. $15 pp in cab or for everyone?
About the same time we got a late start but it was plenty enough time for us we got back in port around 5:00

Thank you! This is so helpful! Do you pay to rent the chairs on the beach? Is this local beach cash only? Do they accept US cash? Are there restrooms? I will be on this cruise in January with my parents. They are in their upper 70's so I need to make sure seating and restrooms are available. Thank you!
I'm not sure about the chairs but I don't think you pay for them yes they accept u.s. cash and there are restrooms don't know how clean they are we didn't have to use them this time

When you get to port just go to the taxi area and till them you wanna go to the public Beach that's what I did don't really know the name of the beach
